6,000 Gallons of Scotch – Crashes and Burns on New Jersey Road

A tanker truck transporting 6,000 gallons of Scotch whiskey flipped over on a New Jersey road and ignited Tuesday.

The truck was reportedly making a turn when it clipped a telephone pole, hit a parked Cadillac, and flipped over in Woodbridge, N.J., Tuesday morning, Fire Chief Dan Gregan told MyCentralJersey.com. No injuries were reported.

Gregan said it was unclear whether it was the diesel fuel from the truck or the spilled Scotch that caught fire.
