Jalen Tolbert, WR
Jalen Tolbert shook off a slow start to his career with a breakout campaign in 2024. He hauled in 49 receptions for 610 yards with seven touchdowns.
Tolbert isn’t an ideal WR2, but could be a high-end WR3. He might also be ready to cash in with another strong performance this year.

Sam Williams, DE
Sam Williams was in line for a larger role in his third season but a torn ACL suffered in training camp sent him to the IR. He’s an athletic freak, who could still make himself very rich if he picks up where he left off in 2023.

Jake Ferguson, TE
No player suffered more from the loss of Dak Prescott than Jake Ferguson. He wasn’t targeted as often by Cooper Rush, ending the season without a touchdown catch.

Contract now are very relevant and a franchise long aspect to overcome in stability of talents. The first three picks in next season's draft can overcome any top shelf needs. The base talent of team directions needs the focus now.

Bland, Pickens and Parsons for those who don’t want to click.
Relevance is who is needed, and there are a very significant list of SIX players...and not 'just' another list. Molding team as when Jimmy Johnson was around. Not a disgruntled crying crew.

Don't worry, rebuild a jet completely and do away with dynamics of team health.

aka earn it or go!!

With the exception of Parsons he will be signed before game one he is not in a contract year we all know the deal will get done we went through this with lamb and Prescott I get tired of hearing how Oh my god we might lose this guy no you could take him off that list..
The rest of these guys have either been injured too often they're inconsistent they haven't proven a thing and now Pickens gets a little bit of a pass but he's going to have to show he belongs on this team and that he's not going to be too greedy meaning if he thinks he's a true number one and wants lamb money he's gone in my eyes but if he's realistic it looks at the DJ Moore contract Devante Smith guy like Brandon aIuk that's where he is in talent and money IMHO
But yeah the rest of that list which looks like it's missing Tyler Smith he will get paid no matter what but yeah that that list all them players they absolutely better have contract years like the best years they've ever had....

This team is in transition right now this new coaching staff is not done purging players especially on defense so a lot of guys better step up or they're gone there is no favoritism here and yes that includes bland....

Steelers got our 3rd

Please resign Bland and Parsons. Pickens in a wait and see kind of deal.
The only two players on this team right now would be Tyler Smith and Parsons who are guaranteed a contract there will be no doubt they'll get their money but you do realize that Bland is in the very much the same position as Pickens they literally are going to have to show they weren't just a one year wonder or that their injury prone they're going to have to prove themselves... That's my opinion bland did not earn a big long term contract yet yes he had big moments one good year but he's going to have to have more than one Goodyear to get a really big contract....

So it depends on what he's looking for... Cowboys can't use the tag on both of them so they would have to make a choice if that was going to be there desire is which one do you think they can get signed if they want and the other one they need to tag.. That'll work itself out this year we'll find out if one of them earns it that's so obvious they get their money or both I hope they both ball out it's to the Cowboys benefit..

Bland is more than just a replacement part.

And one gets ahead on positional strengths with smart and earlier contracts. That can save millions in cap down the road also.

Leave this group set and add three very strong players at a low cost in the next draft.

Sorry man I haven't seen enough his one great year is about as bad as having a great year just in your contract year he's going to need to do better to secure the big bag that is what I said if he wants the big money he's going to have to earn it there's nothing I've seen from him yet that says he should get a big contract yes he earned a contract but how big will that deal go this is a Byron Jones situation there are some players that are good enough to keep but if they want too much money you got to let him walk...

So, I'm not going to have this debate you think that demand is is basically wrote his own contract and I'm telling you he's far from it....
I hope he does well I hope he has a great year he stays healthy but if he misses five or six games again if he's inconsistent on the field where he's getting toasted or getting an interception but hardly anything in between he is not going to get big top five money around.

That's my opinion and I'm staying with it the man right now has not earned a starter contract especially a top five deal he just hasn't let's not overRate our own players here.

The only 3 I’d want to sign or tag. If they can’t get a deal with Pickens I’d consider the tag. Micah should be done already and we should be thinking about bland. But Jerry is Jerry

One judges on the strength of talent already evaluated. The top shelf medical and rehab team is there to protect that player's physical status. That is a different evaluation and routines for retention. Not a disappointment consideration.

Real value. Not just time on carpet. This should be the year when his time on carpet value returns. He has the skills to be good in this scheme and team.

I agree on the play, but...

The Chinese ship counterfeit machinery in export...not the Cowboys.

Did I stutter IMO, Which by the way a lot of chatter on the street and Cowboys nations say the same thing they agree with me this man is becoming another Trayvon Diggs injured playing hero ball it's all or nothing getting interceptions or getting burned I didn't say he's getting burned a lot,

" what have you done for me lately"... That's the narrative for bland he's gonna have to prove it...

I say this guy has a lot to prove before he gets a bigger contract if he wants something too big he's leaving here just like Byron Jones I don't care any interceptions he had that one year I care about the other times last year and he was injured the year before it all matters...

He is thinking about it he's thinking about he just paid Trayvon Diggs who has been nothing but consistently injured or playing hero ball you know all or nothing interceptions breaking on balls giving up big plays i'm not saying that's all he is but Deron Bland is becoming that you don't pay a guy big money for that you want to make him prove it this year i'm not paying the guy up front the only two would be Parsons and Tyler Smith don't be leaving out the real guy those two book it they're signed the rest of them are all in the prove it mode...

You want to blame Jerry for being gun shy with contracts I mean it seems like every time he pays a guy they end up injured all the time and then gone they end up having a bad year right after I mean let's give him some great he's trying to pay a lot of guys big money he has a right to wait and see..

Again yeah if you wanted to get him focused the only two that deserve a contract right now no doubt you don't have to think about it tyler Smith and Parsons...
