Did you actually watch his sacks? He wasnt exactly beating tackles, they were falling or completely missed assignments. We'd be lucky if he gets 6.

6 would have been the most on last year's team before Clowney got 3 in the last game.

This makes the Von Miller signing even more puzzling. I dont like the signing and he was bad last season.

Miller brings his 9.5 sacks from 2025 in D.C.

Lawrence did his job. He was asked to play contain against the run and maintain his gap integrity. Also had two nice pressures before he was pulled from the game.

Believe it or not a defensive end is asked to do more than light up a stat sheet. They can have a great game without getting five sacks.

If Lawrence was doing his job, WE'RE IN TROUBLE!

IF Lawrence gets 6 sacks this year and a bunch of pressures it will be a good year. Tough for rookie DE/OLB to be game changing their 1st year.
