I have been a fan since the Cowboys got Dorsett(1977?), and I can't re-call feeling as giddy about this team since the 90's. I would have been happy with three in a row, 4 would have been unbelievable. We now have six. Let's relish in that a bit, and then make it 7. Call me whatever, but I'm seeing a Cowboys/Broncos Superbowl in the future. I would love to see this season end like the first season I became a fan.

and, barring a TOTAL screw up next Monday night, they should make it 7 in a row against Washington

We might have had a more talented team in 07' but I haven't seen this level fight and intensity since the the 90's as you point out. I loved seeing Tony actually yelling at Cole for screwing up, Marinelli calling out linemen for mistakes on the sideline and all of the scrums that our team seems to get into every week. We are taking it to other teams rather than waiting and adjusting to what they want to do to us. Really exciting.

Way to go Cowboys. Let's stay humble, focused and hungry... and keep it rolling. Props!

Trying to remember - we won like 9 in a row in 2007, I think. We lost to NE in game 3 and did not lose another for a long time.

The key is to keep this pace throughout the year. 2007 started to turn sour when we backed into the playoffs. But with this offensive line I think we should be fine. I don't think this team has peaked yet.

2007 ended when injuries to our WRs let the Giants play man to man and send the dogs after Tony. This isn't the same team, but injuries still could hurt us late if they mount.

One problem with the team in 2007 was that the injuries that came were to the critical people. TO was nowhere near the same; and we all know what happened when we had to rely on scrubs like Crayton.

The giants game was just so bizarre; how do you have a 10 minute drive in the 1st half and then your O line is gassed in the 4th QTR.

Though of course the Giants were so deep on the D line they could platoon.

I'm right there with ya man as far as timeline however I don't want to talk SB just let this team continue to improve and let's enjoy the ride.

I think what is impressing me the most is the mental toughness of this team in all phases. They don't let mistakes effect them they move on to the next play and never let up. Mistakes will happen, bad calls will happen but good teams do not let it effect them they put it behind them and gear up for the next play or next series. In the past when bad things would happen this team would let it snowball on them.
