It's not the stats, it's the W. Campbell threw 54 times, that is the most attempts this week. Palmer threw 52 times and lost. I guess fans are spoiled by the flawless football played by the Cowboys over the past 10 years. Get a grip folks, we're 9-1. I'm thinking some people don't understand the history and the rivalry between Dallas and Washington.

I wish that Romo would have had over 300 yards today. :)

Ya know I was hoping Romo would too. missed it by 6 yards.

Interesting that Cowboy qb's historically don't have high number of career 300 yd games. I think Aikman has the all time lead at 13. Staubach isn't even registered. Dan Marino had like 63 in his career.

But Aikman 3 sb wins, Staubach 2 sb. I guess that means that the Cowboys always had strong running games during those eras.

Still amazing how statistically friendly Romo is for QB passing records.

Staubach had 7 I believe.

Romo just may own all of the Cowboys records when it is all said and done....he just needs to win 4 Superbowls.

I was wondering how many Staubach had. They don't ever show that number for Staubach. I think Romo ties that already or will surpass that soon.
Amazing oddity.

What a great tongue in cheek quote. you have hit :hammer: with that one. When I calmed down a bit after the game,I realized one thing that ties in with what you have said. One of the marks of a truly great team,is the ability to win games they should,by whatever means available. How many times in the past ten year period you speak of,have we been in just the same situation as we were today, holding on to a precarious lead, only to see us find......a way to lose???? Too many heartbreaking times!!

And your comment on the 'Skins-'Boys rivalry??? :hammer: again!!
I've seen many, many, many 'Boys-Skins games, and lopsided scores are really the exception rather than the rule. Most are gut churners.

We will be OK!!!

Actually, now that I think about it some more. We do need a "franchise" type running back. Think about it, Staubach and Aikman both had one. Franchise backs will help you win in the playoffs, because you need to have strong running game in January.

Right now we are "relying" on our passing game and putting too much on Romo. Romo needs a strong running game. I like Barber and Jones. But we still need that franchise back. Perhaps this McFadden kid?

LOL, Romo needs only 3 to tie Aikman, but will own all of Aikman's records...
