HoF lock?

Have you seen what happens to RBs in this league? He's so far away from that... can't even project it at this point
He apparently hasn't heard of Terrell Davis or Ricky Watters or Herschel Walker or Roger Craig or even Barry Foster or Jamal Lewis and Jamal Anderson and Otis Anderson and Ricky Bell or Walt Garrison, Don Perkins, Calvin Hill, Billy Sims, Robert Smith, Bo Jackson the list goes on.

All were players that either won super bowls or had several productive all pro years and then had their careers cut short and were not HOF.

Felix Jones was the best runningback in the 2008 draft, one of the best three to come out this decade behind Tomlinson and Peterson, and he lasted until pick 22.

I have a Commanders friend whom I text once a week with the following statement:

"The Commanders passed on Adrian Peterson for Laron Landry."

:D

I'm usually a cautious even keel but I don't think its hyperbole to state Felix is talent wise on par with Peterson and Tomlinson.

Peterson is godly. Simply put, he is too much man out there. His "shoo fly" move on those two Browns was awesome. And then he accelerated and was separating from guys who were at top speed while he was stopped.

He's nuts. I hope he can stay healthy. Watching him run is a lot of fun.

I was actually hoping he'd fall another one or two spots that way Jerry would move up and get him. I'd LOVE to have AP on this team. Which isn't to say I don't love our backs, cause I do, but AP is special.

Clev draft team is idiotic. Joe Thomas? I knew Peterson was the real deal. At least TB can say they already had good RBs. Clev had a washed up Jamal Lewis! Det, Oak, TB, and Clev will have top 10 draft picks next year.

I don't know about that.

Joe Thomas was a Pro Bowl left tackle as a rookie.

A pro bowl left left tackle is worth every bit what a PB RB is worth and will generally last a lot longer in the league.
