1. Romo is pressing. He is playing the poorest he has played all season at the wrong time.

2. The Cowboys offense is avg at best with out a healthy TO

3. Garrett is calling his way out of any HC possibility.

4. Dallas MUST run more to get deep into the playoffs and have any chance at NE if they meet in the SB.

5. Dallas has lost the fire and needs someone or something to bring it back.

6. Dallas stands a better chance against TB or SEA then they do meeting the Giants or Commanders for a 3rd time.

There are 3 more but the topics tend to lead to 3rd grade name calling so I'll let someone else do it.

As for the future of this team this year. I really believe Dallas is sleep walking thru the last 4 weeks of this season. I just really hope they can find the switch and turn it on when they need to.

2 things are for certain heading into next year. The Special teams units on both sides need a complete over haul and we really need some depth at CB and WR.

The fire will be back in the playoffs. We achieved our goal of playoffs weeks ago, we beat the only other team worth anything in the nfc (packers) come on. WE will be in the superbowl.

I'm hoping the week off combined with all the negative press they are certain to get will light a fire under their a**!

Genius at work?

I think the pressure of the playoff run is exposing his lack of expierence and youth a little.

We will be fired up as all hell. We have a bitter taste in our mouths with last year, and will stomp the opposition. As bad as were playing right now, as many players we have hurt in this game. WE are down by TEN POINTS. we are the alpha team.

We haven't really showed up for a game since the Packers. Then again, that was the last game that truly meant a damn thing.

I wasn't expecting to win, but I wasn't expecting such a lame effort by the first team either.

We have work to do. Get healthy, and get PO'd.

:starspin You made some excellent points, and I, too, "hope" we can find a spark again once the playoffs begin. Of course realizing that we did not play our starters throughout the game, but even so, we've looked flat today, and we will hopefully be able to turn it back on again when it counts, hopefully.

yes plenty of it! and coach plenty of it as well, love the way you guys spin it when your hoping each week that this team will turn it on once the playoffs start. If you watched that game today and thinki things are OK your just kidding yourself, this team lacks confidence right now period!

I can be objective, I am very objective. But to believe you cant just turn it on is sad. IF you have coached it you must be bad at motivating yourr team, a player can go from calm to ecstatic in seconds. Its a whole new game in the playoffs.

I don't know if they can just turn it on when they want to. What I do know is they looked avg. at best the final month and that's been their m.o. for the last decade.

We can all be as optimistic as we want, but I need to see them actually win a big game down the stretch and in a must win situation to really have any confidence in them.

Hahaha...

You think going into a COMPLETELY MEANINGLESS game doesn't have an effect on the players leading up to the week? They might say all the right things about how they're treating it like it's a big game, but the reality is they likely coasted all week in their practice and film study. It certainly looked like it today.

1 rushing yard... you think anything even REMOTELY that pathetic will happen in the playoffs?

You think our offense studied the Commanders D the way they would if it was a big game? You think missing 4 key starters, 3 of them Pro Bowlers (Owens, Gurode, Newman, Ratliff) didn't have a profound effect not only on our ability to play well, but our DESIRE to do so?

I saw a team out there that was more concerned with not getting injured than they were with executing. I saw a team that didn't need to do anything but stay healthy face a team that was playing like it was their Super Bowl, with the playoffs in their grasp. Did you see ANY fire or enthusiasm from our sideline the entire game?

You guys really make me laugh sometimes. We are the #1 seed in the NFC. We have 2 weeks off to sit back at home and get fully healthy. Yet a pathetic performance in the meaningless finale has so many of you wetting your pants.
