60 yard field goal attempt prior to halftime

That was a brain-dead moment by McCarthy and a fireable offense if the Bucs score before halftime. He is very lucky they didn't score.

Garrett did the same thing and everyone lost their mind. Even when the kicker made the kick a few years ago.

There was only 15 seconds left and one could argue McCarthy was just trying to give Zuerlein a little extra confidence to me i could see the positive in that decision and with the time left i was ok with that decision ! as unpopular as that take may be

Give him a little extra confidence on an extremely difficult kick?

I think due to the back surguries they wanted to him to unleash his full power to show him he could wether he made it or not was not the issue if he walked away from that kick with no pain it may have calmed him down a little because if i am correct he didn't miss one after ( not 100% on that ) But either way, why not ! with only 15 seconds left in a tight game and a whole half to go, If that was late in the game i would agree bad choice but cowboys were playing well to that point

This was probably my biggest problem with last night. This kind of decision loses games, and did in fact contribute to losses early last year. I am concerned with the HCs decision making.

I mean, a kicker coming off surgery, who recently only started kicking, and had missed some gimme kicks earlier and they trotted him out to kick at 100% strength. I'm just flabbergasted he missed.

Bones is turning into a disaster. "His" guys that he's vouching for pretty much suck. I guess Anger had one good punt, that was about the highlight of the ST night.

But Zuerlein's specialty was the long kick... "Legatron" and all. That's a big reason you bring him in. But he obviously isn't recovered from the back surgery, and who knows if he ever will be the same.

Didn't have a huge issue because even a miss left them with 15 seconds and no TOs.

Granted, if anyone can turn that into points it is Brady.

I was ok with it honestly.

McCarthy makes some terrible decisions.

He got away with that mistake, but he needs to do better.

Talking about this game last night I did this repeatedly, Brad Sham did it repeatedly last night also during the game!

Its still pretty crazy Tom Brady plays in Tampa.
I live in the Tampa Bay area....and we still can't believe it.

People say one player doesn't make a difference or qb doesn't play defense.

Brady changed this team...not only as a qb...but inspired the whole team with work ethic and winner attitude.

Not the call I'd have made. The kick was pretty close though.
