Ironic a team from PA would talk about fiixes being in. I guess the Pittsburgh mafia pays better than the Philly version. I'm surprised that mobbed up Governor Fast Eddie Rendell couldn't take some money out of the lottery coffers to cover it.

I do seem to recall some on this very same board complaining about the refs, I actually recall a very small few saying some games for the Saints were fixed as well.

I agree. The officials have for the last 5 or so years been trying to get the Colts into the SB as well. I guess the NFL feels badly for Archie and thinks it can make it up through his son.bbailey423;1311906 said:

Last but not least, Spags said Friday "the NFL wants the Saints to be in the Super Bowl" because it would be such a big lift for the city. I could say a lot more about what i think about that, but Brainpaint would ban me from this site...

I have no problem with them saying the officiating was bad.....cause in several Cowboys games, it was bad too...
However, if you think a few bad calls decides a game.....WRONG. The players decide the game.
As Cowboys fans, we can say the 15 yd face mask at the end of the second Washington game cost us the game....should have only been 5 yds.....the Refs screwed us royally.....BUT then we neglect to see the truth. If Parcells goes for 1 in the first half instead of 2, we have a 1 pt lead and just run out the clock instead of having to go for a game winning FG. Then there was TO dropping a sure TD on that deep pass from Romo. Then on the blocked FG, NO ONE ON THE LINE BLOCKED ANYONE....it was a jailbreak to the holder and kicker....So yes, while the refs made a bad call on the type of facemask penalty....the fact remains Dallas did everything they could to lose that game.
Against Seattle.....the refs were horrible....they were calling a pro-seattle game...definite homefield advantage....However, that isn't why Dallas lost....we lost cause we had to settle for a few FGs...we lost because we dropped 3 drive killing INTs.....we lost because Glenn fumbled into the endzone for a safety (catch or not, it goes down as a safety)....we lost because we let Jerramy "Freakin" Stevens remember how to catch and he scored 2 TDs on us......We lost because we refused to attack a depleted and maligned secondary except for maybe twice the entire game.....we lost because Romo botched the hold.....we lost because even though we had 3 timeouts and about 1:30 left on the clock, we couldnt stop Shawn Alexander on first down (contain him on 3 straight downs and we get the ball back in great field position with about a minute left and Automatica kicking).
So the Eagles fans can cry foul about the refs and blame them.....but have some self accountability for your team...The run defense was horrible. Garcia looked human again, lucky the Saints dropped a few turnovers.....oh and pardon the refs for actually calling a few holding calls on your precious Eagles OL....I know you aren't used to seeing holding calls, since your OL gets away with it every freakin game.....
