BP is a coach that studies stats and tendancies almost to an obsession. Why he would not go into the season with a reliable kicker is beyond me!
I heard the same BS. Remember this........percyhoward said:ESPN is already saying we had a late season collapse. Never mind that our 2-4 against those teams was exactly the same winning percentage the league had against those teams during the last six games. (12-24).

ESPN = HATES the Cowboys
It does sting. But the reality of the situation is that while we were 7-3, we didn't have everything going for us. Just look at how our line play went downhill from there. We played playoff calibre teams down the stretch and just got beat. Period. We will be better next year.TunaFan33 said:Why should we let ESPN educate us?
When you go from 7-3 to 9-7, that REALLY stings. Since when has a Parcells team crashed and burned at the end, when they had EVERYTHING going for them?
Bach said:Yep. That would be the Commanders.

My point is that, if we had played the schedule backwards (opening against the Rams and finishing in San Diego), and started 2-4, and finished 7-3, a lot of people would be saying we "finished strong." That too would be an incorrect analysis.gbrittain said:It does not matter. You play the schedule given to you. The Cowboys were 7-3 and proceeded to go on and win only two games down the stretch. That is a collapse no matter how you spin it.
