That's hard for any team to win with, especially against SB Champions. Yes they only lost two, but it's just sloppy play and screws up rhythm.

I give the team credit for making it a game, let alone almost beating them. Too may mistakes to just blame it on RW and Buehler. The Romo haters would have been all over him for the loss, if he had the game that Kitna did.

The D needs to bring in a CB on a blitz more, the guys up front just aren't getting it done enough.

Oh yeah, forgot to ask. How was the fumbled ball the Mcbriar kicked, spottted at the point where the PR got it, if it was a penalty for kicking it in the first place? I never heard the rules of that one.

The Saints declined the penalty.

This game exposed the Kitna effect. He has been good the previous two games but he had benefited GREATLY by big yards off of short passes. Most of his numbers are from little dink passes that the receiver ran for huge gains. Kitna finally needed to actually win this one and he went for 0TDs 1 INT. He's been all you can ask for from your backup though. Very solid.

the Giants game had a ton of down field throws.

I didn't say he had no deep completions. Again, I think he's been everything you could want from your backup. My post, like the TC was directed at those that got lost in the numbers game and though Kitna was Joe Montanna.

Yeah, it's pretty much been shown that recovering fumbles lot of luck. We were fortunate to lose only one (I thought Roy's was the only one?) out of six or seven all game.

It's Montana, the king of dink and dunk and YAC.

I'm not sure what your point is. Some people are convinced Romo is the next Danny White. I hope they are wrong, but I sometimes have the same fear myself.

Nobody thinks Kitna is the answer from what I have read.

True and really all that does is confuse me over todays dink and unk game plan.

My point is there is a big difference between Romo and Kitna. If Tony was in there, we beat them. Probably handily. That's my only point, again to the people that are suddenly obsessed with Kitna and want him over our franchise QB.

ehhh

I still see a team with a defense that went down 17 fast, then gave up the lead in crunch time.

I watched a bunch of players fumbling the ball, kickers missing clutch kicks, bad snaps, and a few curious coaching decisions.

We have some serious flaws to address in the off season.

This game had me screeming at the TV because it was there for the taking and Dallas allowed it to slip right from underneath them...
