Vermeil and Jaws were far superior to Theismann, Kornheiser and Tirico. Vermeil seemed to have lots of enthusiasm and energy. He even used a select choice of curse words every now and then, but in a very tactful manner.

Honestly, I would have never watched the 2nd game if the prior crew was announcing.

That was one of the best announced games I've ever heard. They didn't "talk down" to average fans and were in-depth enough for most hardcore fans.
