That works against Tech. It gets you killed in the NFL. Just ask RG3, Kaepernick, and countless others.

I'm talking about a stop gap until we get somebody drafted and let him sit for a year
If jf does well and avoids injury we're gòod

I don't see a downside to what we have now

Some of u are young, but back injuries have taken many qbs from great to out of the game in a season. Many younger than tony

now why did you make me even consider this. I have goose bumps.
If you think you are one player away, you make this move. I would do this even if it cost me my 2nd rounder. We are a deep team everywhere except RB and QB.

If Hackenberg manages to slip in the draft, we should take a flyer (been saying this for a while, writer stole my idea).
He has a lot of tools, and is athletic and smart. He hasn't had great talent around him, or a very good scheme to run at Happy Valley since O'Brien left. A lot of people are down on him, and if he's there in the 2nd or 3rd, he is 100% the kind of guy we should be taking a flyer on.

problem is if he slips Houston will jump on him really fast. HE coach recruited him and coached him. im betting he will go in the bottom of the 1st round some where around 25 - 32
