Quick thoughts:

7 Reasons why to be hopeful:
  • Cowboys are 8-0 on the road
  • Conditions may favor the Cowboys style
  • Cowboys running against a Packer rush defense that ranked 23rd this season
  • Momentum -- the Cowboys have momentum and they believe
  • Aaron Rodgers likely not 100%
  • Packers offense was good not great in December
  • Emergence of Cole Beasley and the performance of T. Williams gives the Packers 4 legitimate threats to worry about on every play from the WR/TE positions
7 Reasons to worry:
  • Packers are 8-0 home this season
  • When Rodgers is on his "A" game he is virtually unstoppable.
  • This is the best Packers OL Rodgers has played with. Lions sacked him 0 times
  • Eddie Lacy has averaged 5.0 ypc in the 2nd half of the season Green Bay rushed for 1,137 yards in the 2nd half of the season
  • The Packers in the 2nd half of the season allowed only 86.4 yard rushing per game and 3.6 ypc
  • Packers have a pretty good secondary
  • The teams that have slowed Rodgers down the most (the Lions, Seahawks, and Bils) all had top 5 secondaries.

Hopeful because:
1) Jason Garrett has the eye of the tiger
2) Undefeated on the road
3) Running weather game
4) Rodgers has one leg
5) Packers D not so good
6) Momentum
7) Halftime adjustments are superb

No more worries, I feared Detroit's Defense more than the Packers offense.....

I think we put our worst play out of the way. Everyone on the team knows they have to bring the A game from the getgo.

It will be a real tough challenge but I am confident our offense will start out quickly this time.

Detroit was our toughest defensive matchup. GB is our toughest offensive matchup.

Carr on Nelson This is my huge worry I keep a safety over the top and put Scandrick on Cobb

Lacy Keeping the safety over Nelson makes it important that the front 7 control Lacy.

It's a strange new world when the thought of Carr on Jordy Nelson is much more terrifying than the thought of Carr on Megatron.

Megatron looks like a shell of what he looked like last year and previously.
