51 OT Jamon Meredith South Carolina
69 S Chip Vaughn Wake Forest
101 WR Brandon Tate North Carolina
117 LB Jason Phillips TCU
156 RB Jeremiah Johnson Oregon
166 CB Brandon Hughes Oregon St
172 DT Terrance Knighton Temple
197 QB Curtis Painter Purdue
208 OC AQ Shipley Penn St
210 DE Pannel Egboh Stanford
227 OG Cedric Dockery Texas

Some of these don't make a lot of sense, such as RB at pick 156.

I'm pretty sure the Cowboys would take another RB if he had a similar skillset to say Felix, even if he isn't as talented.

4 rbs on the roster and no fb then? I can't see any reason we'd want 5 backs total. So that would mean no fb.

Isn't it rumored we don't like Meredith (or took him off our board)?

Where's Bob when you need him....

Strange NE went to his pro day specifically to look at him in 3/31/09 article. If he is good enough for Belicheat he is good enough for Wade.:laugh2:

I would hate that draft with the exception of Tate. :puke:

You and me both. It's just plain bad.

wow, did they hire Lacewell to mock that???

that is awful.

half the picks do not fit our system, the other half are pure reaches.

the only decent pick for draft slot and position is coming off of tearing his ACL/MCL and will likely be a non-factor next year.

that is a zero starter draft.

I hate the mock, including Tate. I like Shipley though.

I think we need to take a big NT much earlier in the draft. Your NT is the foundation of the 3-4, and Ratliff is too small to keep taking a pounding at that position. I love the guy, I just see him at LDE, with Spears rotating in. We put a player the size of a Ron Brace in the middle, we don't give up two 70+ runs in a row. Plus, like his partner at Boston College, B.J. Raji, Brace is a slashing, penetrating NT, so he would fit in with the system in place.
