I am one of the dak hater's but he hasn't committed as many turnovers of late, and is turning into a competent game manager. So QB can wait until next year I guess.

FA moves
Resign- D-Law, Cam Fleming, Rod Smith, Geoff Swaim, Darian Thompson

Let go- March lillard, Damien Wilson, Datone Jones, Caraun Reid, L.P. Lad, Jamize Olawale, David Irving, Cole Beasley, Tavon Austin, Marcus Martin

Sign in FA- T.J. Yeldon RB, RG3 QB, Grady Jarrett 3-Tech, Denzel Perryman ILB Earl Thomas FS

Don't extend Dak of Zeke because of price for D-Law and Grady Jarrett, However Amari Cooper and Byron Jones with both be extended and restructured

Cut- Cooper Rush QB, T-Will WR, Rico Gathers TE, Adam Redmond C/G, Sean Lee, OLB, Marqueston Huff S,
Draft
Round 1- N/A (Amari Cooper)
Round 2 - Yodny Cajuste LT/RT West Virginia (6-5, 321) Future L. Collins Replacement
Round 3 - Dontavius Russell 1-Tech Auburn (6-2, 320) Actual good depth behind the human log
Round 4 - Mark McLaurin SS Mississippi State (6-1, 215) Heath was never a starter
Round 4C - Olamide Zaccheaus Slot WR Virginia (5-8, 190, 4.4 dash) Faster Beasley
Round 5 - Matt Sokol TE Michigan State (6-5, 260) Depth someone will show up out of the 4
Round 6 - N/A
Round 7 - Tyler Horton Slot CB Boise State (5-10, 190) token Boise State player for this draft good depth
Round 7C- George Aston FB Pittsburgh (6-0, 240) FB that can actually block....go figure

LS- someone new UDFA

ST Guys- Goodwin, Frazier, Thompson, Heath, Lewis, Horton, Covington, R. Smith, Schultz, D. Jackson and a couple other UDFA/Practice squad guys.

I might think about trading down in a round to acquire a sixth round pick and get a LB for 3rd sting depth and special teams depth.
That's what this draft is a depth and future starter draft... besides McLaurin and Zaccheaus nobody starts but it is needed.

Nice effort. Outside of Earl Thomas, I don't feel the team got better. Not a fan of your draft at all, the Virginia slot WR intrigues me some.

Appreciate the effort.

fwiw, We won't carry 5 RB/FBs

I don't see the Cowboys paying L. Collins after next season. They already have to pay Zeke and Dak, so I think LT/RT this year is a pretty high priority. It's not the sexy pick but it makes sense to teach a guy technique and run him through the gambit for a year before he takes over.

I see them paying Collins

why lose him already know he can play t high level

No Earl Thomas and I would try to acquire more picks or at a minimum focus on getting a pick higher in the second round. We need more offensive fire power if we insist on keeping Linehan. We need talent if we aren't going to scheme... Because you want Thomas as a FS, I rate you a C-... If you remove him, I say solid B. lol

Thanks for posting though and please please please no Earl Thomas.

L.P. Lad,
No

Denzel Perryman ILB Earl Thomas FS
injury prone

Byron Jones
Did he turn back into a pumpkin last month of the season?

Cut- Cooper Rush QB, T-Will WR, Rico Gathers TE, Adam Redmond C/G, Sean Lee, OLB, Marqueston Huff S,
Count me in

Round 2 - Yodny Cajuste LT/RT West Virginia (6-5, 321) Future L. Collins Replacement
At 57 or whatever they draft gotta go BPA, I am hoping in a deep D Line draft that is a DT but i got a feeling they force a TE here.

LOVE Dontavius Russell,DT-Auburn.

also like Tyler Horton,CB-Boise St and Michigan St TE Matt Sokol.

I wouldn't let all those FA's of our own walk. At least get them on a decent contract for TC competition.

I don't know anything about any of those players you list to draft. So can't comment.

I have nowhere near the details involved but merely for fun use of a draft simulator this is what my first attempt at a simple draft looked like.
Round 2- Isaiah Buggs DT Alabama
Round 3- Irv Smith TE Alabama
Round 4- Nasir Adderley S Delaware
Round 4- Bryce Love RB Stanford
Round 5- Tytus Howard OL Alabama State
Round 7- Easton Stick QB North Dakota State

I did one on fanspeak with the idea we look for a slot WR,a RB and go with Swim,Jarwin and Schultz at TE just to make it challenging.
Rd2-Riley Ridley,WR-Georgia
Rd3-Juan Thornhill,S-Uva
Rd4-Jaylon Ferguson,DE-La Tech
Rd4-Devin Bush,LB-Michigan
Rd5-Myles Gaskin,RB-Washington
Rd7-Dontavius Russell,DT-Auburn

Buggs and Smith would be a great haul.

Fanspeak hasn't updated its player rankings correctly... there is almost zero chance you could get players like Jaylon Ferguson and Devon Bush in the fourth round. I wouldn't mind getting those players though that would be astounding.

Not bad, shark.

Wouldn't reject any of these guys.

Nasir is Herb's second cousin, who is HOF CB from GB and Cowboys ('70-'72); pretty good genetics.
