I liked Watt but using a first round pick on a specialist to use in a specific sub package might be a real waste of value.

I don't think he can be an every down DE. And he's probably a SAM, who doesn't play a ton for us or a WILL and you aren't taking Lee off the field for Watt. And likely, if Jaylon Smith is healthy, he's a better WILL than Watt too.

I think he's a nice player and if the Cowboys drafted him I would have been fine with it but he's a situational player IMO in this defense.
