we gotta get up early and force the snake to throw keep him in long yardage he hasnt changed his game like evertyone says he has been put in a better postion to succueed this year. i bet anyone we get up early well see the same old snake return. They lost to the fins on the road but that was the opener with saben so they were all hyped up, then they lsot to ny in ny right at the end. i think we can beat them but bill gotta give drew a little bit of rope. I dont know if he trying to keep the arm fresh i know our o line i struglling but do some quick three step drops and hit witten and keshawn for some short passes that will defentily open things up. I dont know but this is just one mans thoughts

Here's the flip-side...Cowboys have only beaten two teams with winning records. Denver has beaten five.
Four of those five were in Denver.

And realize that Denver's 2nd ranked rushing defense is based on yards per game. The Broncos usually have big leads, forcing opponents to abandon their running game. That's why Denver is the only team in the league to allow less than 20 rushing attempts per game. Their opponents can't pile up rushing yardage when they're passing on every down.

When you look at yards per carry, the Broncos give up 4.0, same as the Lions. Jones/Barber had 100 yards after three quarters last Sunday. The key for the Cowboys is keeping the game close, so we can run it 35 times.

Another good sign for Dallas is that Plummer hasn't faced many good pass defenses, in terms of sacks and completion % allowed. The Cowboys rank 3rd in the NFL in completion % against, allowing opposing QB's to complete just 55.1% of their passes. The Broncos have only played one game against a defense ranked in the top 10 in this category, and in that game Plummer went 10 of 26 for 92 yards. That's for the whole game!

The Broncos have played 3 games against defenses ranked in the top 10 in sacks, and have recorded their 3 lowest point totals of the year in those games. The Cowboys D is currently 7th in sacks.

i think this game breaks down rather easily. If Dallas doens't do a better job against the run, the Cowboys will be blown out. We have seen Ware and Fujita give up chunks of yardage. The way Denver runs the ball, this will be fatal. If Dallas gets down early, that running game will wear the Cowboys down and it will get ugly.

On the other hand, If Dallas can score quickly they may be able to force denver to pass more. This will work in the Cowboys favor down the stretch as Denver has played with a lead all year.

Sluggish O + bad run D = 20 point loss
Fast O start + good run D = 10 point win

Well thats just it. It's hard to know which way it will go. Will our offense be like the first Eagles game.. or the second?

Will we control the run like we did againt LT and Portis and Alexander.. or not like the Eagles the 2nd time around and against the Raiders?

The point I'm simply making is I'm not "scared" of the Broncos in these particular circumstances (home, short week, etc). I was more scared going into the first Eagles game figuring they might come in here and it'd be "here we go again". But we kicked the living crap out of em. They never even came *close* to being in that game over 4 quarters. Course we've had some issues since then.. Crayton/Flozell.

Like I said, no outcome would surprise me (which isnt much different than any other particular NFL game these days). I dont expect the game to be as "automatic" as the Cards or Lions and I dont expect it to be as difficult as if we were going to Indy.. or even if this game were *at* Denver.

I'm just glad Bill didnt get all teary-eyed last Sunday the way he did 2 years ago on the Sunday before the Turkey day game. We all saw how much we'd *really* arrived 4 days later when we hosted the Dolphins. ;)

Anyway, we shall see.
