He's the kind of player that had he been on the Cowboys all along, I believe he would have been fan favorite. Some of the stories about him and type of person he was in Washington were surprising to me when the Cowboys signed him. It made me respect him a lot and, more importantly, root for him even more. I hope he has a good season because he is the type player I want on my team. I am not saying to just give him a spot for being a good person, but I hope he plays well enough to earn that spot and honestly, I think that's the way he looks at it too.

I was looking at old photos on his Instagram, and just in the last 6 months, he has really leaned out.

I think that is why we are seeing such explosive bursts in his runs. Even in limited preseason touches, he has run with vision and agility that I didn't see last year. If Zeke does get suspended, I'd think about having Morris as my workhorse and let McFadden come in on 3rd downs.

I'm also really intrigued by Rod Smith, though. So who knows what'll happen!
