Brown hasn’t appeared in an NFL regular-season game, although he had stints on the practice squads for Chicago and Arizona. Glaud played in seven games for Tampa Bay in 2013 and spent time on the Buccaneers’ practice squad last year.

You never know when the strength and conditioning as well as the lights coming on creates a NFL player. It takes 2 years for some to progress and adapt.

I can see Fortenberry being put on IR after clearing waivers.

I think he got that from Jimmy.
Well, at first Jimmy had no choice in 1989. But Garrett learned a lot from Jimmy back then and it stuck with him.

Parcells did, too. But Garrett takes it to a new level. And I think he gets rid of players faster whom he does like.

They automatically revert to IR if nobody claims them. The team can keep them there or work out an injury settlement.

I wonder how serious Fortenberry's injury is? I haven't seen anything specifically said about it.
