I remember one maybe two off throws from our man Tony last night. Seemed like a TON of drops and he still completes %80 of his passes? Pretty darned amazing!

The throw to Witten that resulted in an INT was on Tony. Other then that, he looked pretty good I thought. Really good in the 4th Quarter late.

He was great last night but that Witten interception had me fuming. That wasn't a tough throw.

Two drops by Williams, one drop by Dez and the "drop" by Street. He wouldn't have thrown 45 times if all of those had been caught, but to think he basically threw what should be 40 completions out of 45 throws is pretty crazy.

Romo reminded me of Payton last night, not in his physical play, but how he was diagnosing what the D was going to do at the line of scrimmage.

You may be seeing a complete QB really coming into his own.

It was a trip how he new exactly where they were coming from. They were trying to throw some fairly exotic stuff at him at times and he read them like a book!

Romo's command of an offense has NEVER been as good as it was last night. His accuracy was good not great, but he never had to depend on his athleticism or escapability to make plays.

I can see that being Tony's fault but Witten tipping it in the air like that is just asking for it to be intercepted. Poor play by both.

Partially.

The play before was the fumble return where tony tweaked his knee. You can see when he rolls out to throw something isnt right when he lets go and its underpowered.

No. I don't see it that way. I mean, Witten doesn't know if there is anybody trailing him or behind him. He has to try and make that catch. That, IMO, is not on Witten. That's on Tony and Romo would say the same IMO.

Dunbar had to one hand a Tony throw. Williams in the end zone was behind him. Williams had another behind him.

I'm NOT bashing Tony.

He was just a little off.

Now....those last two drives he was THEEE Tony Romo. Dude is M.O.N.E.Y.

All of this could be true and probably is but it doesn't change anything. That was Tony's INT. He played great but not on that pass.

Of course Romo would say the same. Agree to disagree.

He was in such control it was amazing to watch. To think he started his career as a gunslinger, kid-on-the-playground type. Now he is a commanding leader who seems to know exactly what the defense will do, and how to counter it.
(And how to get the play off just before the play clock expired, which freaked me out all night.)
