Contract year for CeeDee. My unfounded theory: Dak is being ordered to not target him as much as he should to keep his extension price tag down. CeeDee deserves to be force-fed 10+ targets a game like Kupp, Jefferson and Chase gets - but it's not happening.

Results? Frustrated WR1:

Good stuff!!

Why does it seem we have to start off slow, go through adversity, have a meeting with said top WR to finally get things rolling for him? I just don't get it, get him the ball, use him for everything, get him in mismatch situations! This is the same story all the time, THEN the QB and WR finally seem to get it going after this.

Please give your thoughts, all this hard work in the summer for this????
Dak is not a receivers-friendly quarterback. Ask Dez, Amari, and now CeeDee.

He likes tight ends, tight ends, and more tight ends. Oh, and backs.

Receivers are icky-poo fraught with small windows and danger. He'd rather not.

And CeeDee knows it. That's why he was standing 20 yards from everybody most of the game.

The division is still in play. The Eagles will lose five or six games this season. So will the Cowboys. The head to head games will decide the division. Admittedly that doesn’t do anything about the 49ers who, frankly, could probably beat a team put together from from both Dallas’ and Philly’s rosters. If you’re being reasonable there is still a lot football to go and adversity hits every team to a degree. All is not lost. (yet)

This team soMehow found players the caliber of dez Bryant and Amari cooper expendable. It’s a shame!
