The Dallas Cowboys have seven draft picks, including two 1st round picks.
However, the "distance" between their last 1st round pick and their next pick is 88 slots......that is almost two and a half rounds.
The Cowboys do not have a 2nd day pick. After their 1st round picks are spent, they must wait until the 12th pick in the 4th round or the #108 overall pick.
Are we to believe that Jerry Jones will sit there a full day and just twiddle his thumbs as he watches the next best available 64 players go flying off the list?
Will he wait patiently until the 3rd day/?
There is going to be some downward movement. Either the Cowboys will make the #12 selection and then trade the #20 selection for multiple day #2 picks or they will use the #12 pick to move farther down into the draft while picking up.
