OK, here's a positive thread. Props to Wade Phillips. He has done something that Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson could not - coach the Cowboys to a 9-1 start. We're making history this season. Keep it going, Cowboys.

You must not be aware of the curse of game #10. We lost both times when we were 8-1 in 92 and 95, once to the Rams and once to the 49ers.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Cowboys started off 9-1 in 1976 and 1983. And we started off 8-2 in 1992 and 1995.

That being said, if we beat the Jets, it will be the first time our club achieved 10-1. So history making is still on the way.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Cowboys started off 9-1 in 1976 and 1983. And we started off 8-2 in 1992 and 1995.

You're right, VC. The Cowboys have never started better than 9-1. I just looked it up. If we beat the Jets on Thursday, then it will be the best start in Cowboys history. I stand corrected, but I'm still giddy about this.

However, I did read that 9-1 would be the best start ever. I guess you can't trust the media.

We're 9-1 , we own the NFC East, and most I read here on the zone is criticism of the team. Not constructive criticism most of the time either.
Instead we complain about all we do wrong, even when we win!!!!!!

I guess I just don't understand some people.

I know we're supposed to Embrace The Hatred, But Why can't we just enjoy The Ride.

Your statement was fundamentally correct. 9-1 is the best start in Cowboys history. No other Cowboy team has achieved better. If you had stated "this Cowboy team is the only 9-1 team in Cowboy history," you would've been incorrect.

But you didn't. You were absolutely correct.

Those years ended with 1st round playoff losses. Screw that, I want a Super Bowl!!

I agree with you. I'm damn happy with the W and to be 9-1. The Foreskins played a great game today and gave us their best and still couldn't beat us. We're coming off a helluva two game road swing and finish it up 3-0 in the EAST. That's just awesome and I'm thrill with the BOYZ....

It's all good. 9-1 is nothing to sneeze at. And with the way the Cowboys played today, you know they are going to crank it up against the Jets.
