9 players on IR

We have 9 players on IR.

CJ Goodwin has a broken arm, surgery, will miss rest of the season.
So we will be adding a CB soon.

Wilson, M. Martin, Showers, Brown, Ehinger, Jones, T. Williams, Frederick are the other 8.

Wilson, TFred, Jones, Brown all will be back next year, possibly TFred and Brown this year.
Martin I think had a one year deal, not sure if Ehinger was one or 2 years left.
Twill most likely will be released once cleared after the season.
Showers, man I hope they move on, but I bet they give him a one year deal. It is one of those stupid things this team does.

Goodwin, not sure what his contract status was.

But it is some players for TC without drafting or getting FA's. Need those TC bodies.

Just throwing it out there to have something different to hear the good and the bad, and oh, will there be the bad.

I think in the list that you provided only Frederick will be back. I hope Frederick can recover. I am more concerned about his health than football right now.

I don't hate any player on the team. T-Will was giving a new contract and then was not prepared mentally. His off-field antics are ridiculous considering that he had an opportunity to be the team's top receiver with Dez and Witten leaving. Noah Brown has shown promise but with Dallas now having Amari Cooper I think that the Boys will draft a late round receiver and pick up a few undrafted players.

I am happy that Showers has been able to live out his dream of playing for the Cowboys. I tip my hat at how he was able to maneuver through hard work and stay on the practice squad. I love his heart. His story is similar to Keith Smith.

This season has brought many changes to the squad. Look for the Cowboys to make more moves before it is all said and done.
