There’s a decent chance we’ll be the 10th. My understanding is both Quinn and Moore are taking head coach interviews and are favorites for different positions.
Quinn maybe, Moore not a shot in hell.

I agree with this entirely.

I’m amazed at how much Moore gets bashed on here.
Is he perfect? Of course not, but who is?

He’s absolutely one of the better young OC’s in the league. He’s only going to improve.

I think a big part of the bashing is that Cowboys fans watch non-Cowboys games and every time a team makes a splash play they’re like “why can’t we do that! We never do that!”. Then when they watch Cowboys games they sort of take the big plays for granted and obsess over the bad - “OMG why did we just do that! So dumb!”.

It’s very weird.
Our O scores tons of points and gains tons of yards under Moore.

I can't remember a year we have so many OCs and/or DCs fired. Kellen has one more left on his contract. If I'm him, I'm asking Jerry if he will add a couple more years to my deal or release me to pursue one of the 9 opens.

I'm surprised it's not as many Head Coaches being fired.

I had expected:
Colts
Tampa Bay
Atlanta
Carolina
Cleveland
Chicago
and the Chargers

More so, i see/expect Sean Payton to Dallas rumors will die out - even if we lose to San Francisco.

Quinn getting the Broncos job makes sense…but what job do you think Moore is a “favorite” for? All I’ve seen is that he’s 1 of 5 or 6 guys to interview for the Panthers job with no indication that he’s a favorite.
No. It doesn't. They need a strong offensive mind to work with Wilson.

I think we have to just be outraged about the Leftwich firing……..ESPN tells us we should be hyperventilating about since he was only given 4 years and we should also ignore the fact that Todd Bowles was behind it…….let’s keep blaming Brady instead.

Of that list, only the Chargers opening seems to be really attractive. The rest have question marks at QB, have head coaches that are really the offensive force, or have contractual roadblocks in place when it comes to QB. Assuming the Chargers can pay Herbert, they are loaded with talent and should be a stepping stone job to a HC position in 2 years or less if the OC is any good.
The Chargers' position is head and shoulders the most attractive, probably more attractive than the Cowboys position even. You get Herbert, a good core, and you live in San Diego.

I’m hesitant to hire an OC that can’t develop a screen game.

We really have it good with Moore. He has his warts but he’s much better than a majority of the coordinators. If just because there’s really not that many quality coaches.

He’s one of the 8-10 best OC’s and seemingly good enough to win with. Just gotta hope he has more Tampa’s than he does Washington. Same goes for the QB.
I think Kellen got better when McCarthy showed up. ;)
