After two extensions- each of which were top dollar at the time- the Cowboys still haven't sniffed a NFC Championship game, much less a Super Bowl.
Each time the Cowboys reached the playoffs, they went home after the divisional round. Each time, Dak Prescott tried to bring the Cowboys back late in the game after the opponent built a commanding lead, with the Cowboys offense stagnant until the games were almost out of reach.
Now there are claims of how great Dak Prescott is after the Cowboys win any game, but the question remains: Is Dak Prescott an elite player who can lead the Cowboys to a Superbowl win and restore the championship ring celebration in Dallas.
Beating the Giants or the Bears or any other sub .500 team doesn't make Dak elite.
Can Dak Prescott lead the Cowboys to a win against a real competitor in a Divisional playoff game?Can he be the reason that the Cowboys return to greatness?
His history says "No".
Will Dak rewrite history in 2025 and show the world that he is a winner?

He does not have success in the post-season. At some point he just seems to lose his mind/confidence. You can tell when the game starts and he gets happy feet (see Troy Aikman after his concussions) and starts overthrowing receivers. He just can't dial it back enough to correct, even though he is able to close the scoring gap during garbage time.

I loved winning games and trophies, but not as much as watching my daughter graduate college at the of 20 or walking her down the aisle.....keep it all in perspective, brother. Visited with an old friend on Wednesday, they read him his last rights and is surrounded by family today....a former student died yesterday, at the age of 47...I dont dare let a game get me down, anymore. Like Romo, Dak plays for a dysfunctional franchise where the owner/gm/hc micromanages everybody and spend way more on the offensive side of the ball. There are so many distractions for players and the QB that it's amazing Romo and Dak have each won 2 wild card games each.

Put Dak or Romo on a great franchise with a real GM, real head coach, etc and they both could have easily won a Super Bowl. But the Dallas QB does not play defense and the defense is our ceiling come playoff time.

Dak looks like a top five QB so far, but the defense will force him to score 35+ point a game just to compete.

We know what no QB or player can success here. Jerry just needs to look in the mirror for the root cause.
