I remember that game. I was at Bruno Mars' house (well, he was only 6 years old...it was his dad's house). We were rehearsing our new show that was getting set to open in Waikiki and I kept taking 'bathroom breaks' to go see some of the game.

No, because sitting in the stands, we didn't know the severity of the injury.
When I got home and heard about his injury and saw the replays, that's when I realized what a warrior he was that day.
