During Frisco week, someone asked me if I had footage of the play. I didn't, until now. So please join me in re-living a bad memory!

Wow. I didn't remember it being so blatant. How that wasn't called is beyond me.

Deion almost removed Irvin's arm from the socket. Had we got the call their and scored a TD, it's 38-35, with all the pressure back on young and san Fran. We showed alot of character, but it's hard to spot a team 21 Pts OB the road and win.

I remember this! Although you didnt have to remind me Im glad you put it up. Dallas spotted the 48ers 21 points and came back on them. That was a big play, because instead of a touchdown or just a 40 yard 1st down we got a 15 yard penalty against us because of Barry coming on the field and bumping the Ref!!!!

The ref was behind Irvin and Deion and did not see the arm bar.

I kind of miss Madden as an announcer.
Me too. Some people didn't like him...I loved the guy

As far as that call...it might be one of the most influential penalties in history. There's a good shot the Cowboys go on and win that game, then beat SD. Potentially the could have been a 4-time in a row champion...not saying it would have, just throwing it out there.

You'd likely get fined and suspended for that much contact in today's game.

There was an official 8 yards in front of both of them, staring right at the play.

The line judge was behind them, but the side judge appears to be looking right at the contact about 7 seconds into the clip. Although pass interference may be called by any official, it is generally the side judge's responsibility on a pass in that area of the field.

Wasn't there another non-call on Deion on Irvin near the goal-line on a slant? Yeah, we gave up 21 points, but come on, some of that was so blatant...ridiculous. Guess they couldn't stay to see us win 3 in row.

It's clear as day the ref was 8 yards ahead of him. Does anyone remember who the refs were that day?

He was a bit distracted thinking about the check he had in his pocket from Eddie DeBartolo.

It sounds like Dick Hantack, but that's just a guess from deep in the memory banks.
