Just thought I'd give the NY Giants a big thank you for the loss last week. IMHO, the loss inconjuction with Mr. Dennis and his comments have been a rallying cry for the team. I do think we see a completely different Cowboys team this Sunday, and for the rest of the schedule. This will be a team that gives 100% effort, gels, and begins to execute in all three phases of the game.

Allow me to take you back to the 2005-06' season when the Steelers were sitting at 7-5. They rallied and came together to make an unbelievable run, eventually winning it all.

Now I'm not saying the Cowboys are going to win it all, but I believe the team will figure this December thing out, and start winning games whether it be conventional, or unconventional.

We are 8-4, and still atop the NFC East, albiet not by much. But we're there nonetheless. I'm sure this thread will be frowned upon by the "realists" in this forum, mocking and doing their best to tear it down, but I believe it's worth discussing.

Bring on the Chargers!

I think we've won our last game for the 2009 season.

Wade will be fired, then Garrett, then the next guy Jerry brings in, because he'll neer hire a coach that can get the job done: Jerry won't giv up the HCing job any more than he'll give up the GM job.

Things will finally turn around when Jerry is gone, if Stephen holds true to his vow to "bring in a GM"...

I hope you are right Fletch! For my overall demeanor if nothing else.

Ben was injured in the middle of that season. That caused the team to be severely underrated. They also had a fairly easy December schedule at that time in comparison to other conference rivals fighting for a wildcard spot. Not to mention their run to champion included vanderjact, a fluke injury happening to palmer on the first drive of the game, and the refs holding their hands in the superbowl.

Unbelievable? Yes, but for all the wrong reasons.

I keep hoping we turn it around every week. Maybe this week...

I'm not sure if we'll be able to make it all the way to the Super Bowl (I stand by my prediction just like every year!) but the team is definitely different. A year ago they would've imploded with the media and ended up having all kinds of stupid sound bytes for ESPN to tear apart for a week.

How many good losses can this team have before we realize that losing blows. Always.

If there's one team the Cowboys should be motivated to play well against, it's the Giants. There is obvious animosity between the two teams, that doesn't exist against even Philly or the Commanders. Add that to the fact that it was an enormous game with all sorts of playoff implications for both teams, and nothing should've motivated the Cowboys like that game should have.

Under those circumstances, they went out and laid an egg.

And now we're supposed to think that a media personality's negative comments has made this huge impact that will unite the team?

No offense, but that's a joke.
