The Cowboys made the right decision by selecting Lamb, for two reasons: One, Dallas drafted from its board and not for "need'' - almost always the right long-term move. And two, there is evidence can expect Lamb to develop and have an even better - and bigger - season in 2021.

Lamb was generally listed at "6-2, 189'' during his college time and leading up to the draft. We're hearing now he might be closer to 199.

Ten pounds of muscle?

Lamb said he feels "a lot stronger and faster and a bit more explosive." That showed itself in his stellar work in OTAs and minicamp.

I'd like to see him at 205-210lbs, in a 6'.2" frame, he shouldn't have a problem carrying that weight

Coming in it was obvious we'd want him to get his weight up. Nice to hear it's happened, but I expected it. I'd be disappointed if he didn't get his weight up.

Hell yeah, I love it. He already played deceptively strong for his size. If he doesn't lose any burst (which I doubt) he's going to be phenomenal going forward. What a fortunate pick.

6’2 200 is perfect for him I think.... kid took some shots last year and bounced up immediately. He is fearless, tough, explosive, and that extra muscle should make him more durable and allow him to break some tackles

Lovin what Lamb has done to this point. Great rookie season followed by some serious weight room work in the offseason

I am not worried about his size. He looked closer to 170 last year with those toothpick legs. If he gets open, catches the ball and gains yards after the catch I don't care how much weight he puts on or doesn't. Some guys are better off playing lean and mean.

Gaining 10 lbs. is a lot in one year, but to maintain or increase your speed, well I'm good with that.
