In no way shape or form am I glad that T.O. had the incident he did, but sometimes things happen for a reason, and what is bad, turns out to be good.

I think a lot of positives are coming from the latest T.O. saga.

There are people all across the country who owe T.O. an apology, not that he will ever get one, but deep down many know they where very wrong.

The media is looking very bad in many circles, and a lot of horrible and inaccurate things have been said and published, they all now have egg on their face. It is very evident that many memebers of the media want to tear T.O. down as hard as possible, they even enjoy it. Some of the things I have heard are just awfull and down right mean. It is a shame in today's society people can just get away with this, people who are supposed to be professionals.

In the end to many T.O. is becoming an underdog. Many people who where against him are changing their tune, they are now focused on the media.

His team memebers, despite what some media will tell you, are with T.O., probably now more than ever. I think the team is uniting in the locker room. This situation has allowed the players to let T.O. know he is one of them, they care about him, and they have his back. Not only is this important for T.O., but the players themselves.

T.O. also through this has been able to see what influential people around him are with him, and against him.

Not only are players on our team seeing what has been going on between T.O. and the media, but players and coaches from around the league are seeing the same thing and grabbing his back.

I said earlier this year that T.O. can never win against the media, he can never do right, he is up against something that you just can not win, BUT T.O. definetly WON this one. Who would have ever figured. Could this be a knock out blow? Could this change things?

How can you not root for T.O. now? How do you not root for a Dallas Cowboy who is so hated that people will do anything to destroy? How do you not root for a person who most decide does not deserve another chance? Dont we all deserve another chance, is that not America. T.O. is a DALLAS COWBOY!!!! I am proud T.O. is a DALLAS COWBOY! I love the under dog, and I hope T.O. comes out on top not just on the football field, but in life, but MAYBE I AM THE ONLY ONE!

I hear ya... but... NO..... TO did not really win... ok, maybe he won one of the MANY battles with him and the media... (TO and the Media is an all out war)......but the media will just move on to the next thing or just keep twisting this one with their EXPERT:jerk: ANALysis

There is really only ONE WAY TO CAN WIN.... its simple.... WIN A SB or 2 or 3 with Dallas... and even then... its probably a temporary Victory

Yep... I'm afraid that TO's reputation in the media is set. They may lay off a little but they'll never change. He'll always be a big story and they'll always egg him on in an effort to creat a big story.

I guess that TO can deal with it though and the Cowboys seem to be doing OK with him as a distraction... so, as long as he produces big-time on the field, then I expect everything to pretty much stay the same.

Or Owens can simply avoid the media and behave himself.

What a great ideal. Don't feed the animal and you’re less likely to get bitten.

the real blessing is if we make the playoffs we should have a better feel for handleing the pressure. the media draws so much attention now, by then if not already they will be used to it.

Makes sense, if I'm a media guy I'm going after the guy that'll get me the best quote/story. Owens has shown in the past that if you catch him at the right moment he'll give you great headlines. It's not fair for the media to do so but Owens does deserve some blame...except for this week, I can't fault him at all for the scrutiny he had to go through.

Sad thing is we'll blame the media for attacking a guy like that, but how many of us were glued to the tv, internet, etc. watching this story like a hawk for hours *Raises hand*

When I talked to John McClain that is what he said as well. The media loves TO because he makes their job easy by making comments before thinking and it has caused a lot of TO problems but these are problems he could have avoided. This past situation I agree is not his fault what so ever and had their not been all the past history with TO maybe the media would not have handled it the same way. I also think you make a great point in how everyone here has been glued to this story and so expect for more stuff on this as long as they know they have an audience to play to.

Of course, the only time he talked to the media this week was when he told them they were wrong.

I have lost patience with Dallas fans that are still holding Owens at arms length, even after this escapade.

He has behaved himself since he became a Cowboy, what more could he have done?

He has been falsely accused more than once by the media.

He has handled every situation with grace.

It is us against them.

They have dissed one of us.

The players have accepted and welcomed him, the coaches too.

It is time to drop the hate and trust the guy, he has earned that much.

He wears the star now, he is one of us, he has worn it well.

Is he perfect, no.

It is time to give him a chance.

I would like to add that he seems happy to be here as a Dallas Cowboy. Genuinely!

Now the media is trying to cover their trash and turning this into "Mental health of TO" saga. They are really pathetic
