Obviously this is innacurate. Actual game footage is 60 minutes (1 hour) and the average game broadcasts over 180 minutes (3 hours). So the "actual football action" or game footage is 1/3 (or 33%) of the total boradcast. Hey, I'm just sayin...

But the ball is actually live for only about 15 minutes. If you watched a game of plays only, no commercials, replays, etc, you could watch every play of every NFL game in 4 hours.
