To McCarthy, sometimes to win the war you don’t fight every battle, you run the ball on 3rd and 10 and punt. Are odds of winning probably increase by 50%, if we take the conservative and smart option, and just run the ball and punt!

Quinn was out coached by Peterson. Throughout the game we had no answer for all their misdirection. Jacksonville had over 500 yards of offense.

Dak played every bit as good as Lawrence in this game. Dak and Lawrence both had 1 bad interception. Dak threw a second interception, that was a perfectly thrown pass, and Lawrence had a bad fumble, that very easily could have ended the game. Lawrence had way larger windows to throw into, than Dak. Again, Peterson out schemed and coached Quinn.

Quinn commented after the Texan game about how being challenged was good for the D. How did this ridiculous performance vs Jacksonville help this MEDIOCRE defense. Over the last 2 weeks this is a very mediocre defense!

Fans that scream all the time we must run the ball are clueless! In the 2nd half when we kept trying to pound the ball we either punted or settled for FG’s. In general, a smart team, takes what the defense gives you, but not always. If the other teams strength is stopping the run, then a smart team runs sparingly. Even when we had the Great Wall, we didn’t just pound the ball all the time. Remember when Philly stuffed Emmitt twice in a row on short runs, then we went on to beat them in the playoffs.

Kellon Moore is not perfect, but he is one of the better OC’s in the league. This year, I think he has been a little more creative in his run schemes.

Stop making excuses about our injuries on D. The players we lost on D were never known as play makers( Lewis, Brown, LVE, Hankins ). We need our known playmakers on D to start making plays( Mika, Lawrence, Diggs, our Safeties)

I think TY Hilton will help this offense!

I hate to say it but this Offense needs to protect the Defense. right now! Play Field position( punt the dam ball ), control the clock and run the ball until we are forced to pass.

Dak MUST stop pressing. Throw the dam ball away and punt. Play to fight another day!!

This O line has the potential to be EXCELLENT if it can stay healthy!

Defense does not improve, until they start doing their DA_ job!!!

Sam Williams MUST step up! Give him 75% of the DE snaps!

Put Mika at MLBer, let’s find out how instinctive he is as a LBer. Start Williams at DE!

Here's the clear-eyed vision there's a lot of blame to go around but in the end the defense got a turnover and all the offense had to do was move the chains and kill the clock.

We weren't asking Dak to be Roger Staubach and drive the team down and score a touchdown.
We just needed the chains moved and the clock run out.
The play calling sucked and the execution was just as bad.
In these situations Dak needs to put the team on his back and get the chains moved whether he has to run it himself or pass it it's got to happen.

After the defense gets you a turnover like that going three and out is absolutely unacceptable. Period end of story.

Eh, I think anyone paying any sort of attention the last 2 weeks can easily determine that’s not true!
Brown hasn’t even played in the last 2 weeks, just because the scrub behind him , Joseph is terrible, has nothing to do with Brown, genius!

You said there is lots of blame to go around, then preceded to blame Dak and the Offense.
The Defense gave up 3 touchdowns back to back to back, 500 yards and 34 points in regulation and your going to blame Dak and the Offense!
Do you know how stupid that sounds?

It's not stupid at all The defense is injured and beat up and they're going to continue to give up points until they get healthy if that's even possible.
They luckily came up big when it counted and got a turnover all they needed the offense to do who is operating at full strength.
Was to get a stinking first down and run the clock out That was it.

Sure we lost Steel but replaced him with Tyron.
With the talent on that offense we should have been able to close the game out.

The defense bailed the offense out while they had injuries to Dak ,Gallup,Tyron. Now was the time for the offense to return the favor and they failed to step up.

And yes there was other blame to go around time management play calling sheesh never seen a team try harder to give a game away.

It was freaking ridiculous All they had to do was kill that clock Even if they didn't get the first down run the damn ball and get the time off the clock.
For heavens sake we weren't needing them to go down and make a game-winning drive just one freaking first down.

I think Moore has improved with his run schemes, but I agree, we need more misdirection. Moore should be stealing plays from the Niners run game, including using CD more in the run game.
.....that will get CeeDee on IR quickly.....this is the NFL, not going against Texas Tech.....and CeeDee ain't Deebo (who is injured) when it comes to running the ball.

Lol! They’ve gone from averaging around 5 sacks per game to one in 2 weeks. Figure it out turnip!

Dak benefits from low expectations, and he still can't meet them most of the time.

Clear eyed view equals homer spin. Actually the clear eyed view is we are in the time of year where good and well coached teams are peaking. The opposite is happening in Dallas.

Brown was a HUGE loss as compared to joseph. Armstrong was also missing. LVE, problem is we have no one else. Parsons has been dinged up for weeks.

The injuries have been mounting and its very clear they are affecting the defense. They are no longer a top 5 defense. Can barely get to the QB anymore.

Our coaching from top to bottom leaves us at a disadvantage on game day. From scheme/play design to philosophy to in game adjustments. We just don't seem as smart and savvy as other teams. Often our players are dumb or poorly prepared. Its a minor miracle we're in the top third of teams in the NFL.
Preach it Brother!!

Agree with most of it but losing Brown and Lewis hurt had a huge domino effect on our pass rush. Our coverage can no longer hold up for the pass rush to get home. Offenses are quick hitting us all over the field because of it.

No, he is not.

And Trevor Lawrence is quickly on his way to being vastly superior to Dak. His arm talent is on another level.
Lawrence leads the league in fumbles lost with 8. He went 3 and out in overtime and his fumble should have lost the game.

I said before the Jags game they were a hot team and some disputed this because two weeks before they lost to the Lions, who are another hot team. Watching the Jags play against Dallas you can see that defense plays hard. They hit hard and their secondary tackles well. Their defensive line is strong and quick. But they are hot right now. They had Jets receivers drop a few easy passes like Brown dropped that pass into the arms of a Jags DB for the pick 6. Hot teams get those breaks to win games.

Lawrence is playing with a lot of confidence right now as well. Zay Jones gives a lot of DBs fits. They can run the football and throw it as well. They are doing everything well right now. Doug Pederson deserves recognition for what he has done with this team.

I dont even think they needed that much. They needed to make the Jags use all 3 TOs.

That’s what a franchise quarterback looks like. I know we forget because we’re going on 30 years now without a first rounder. LOL

Got news for people, this is not the Urban Meyer Jaguars. Jags are one of the hottest teams in the second half, their quarterback is playing lights out, and they have a few units that are top in the NFL right now if you’re just looking at the second half of the year. If they continue this into the next year, expect a playoff berth.

This was the trap game I was worried about. But when the Boys jumped up to such an early lead, I thought OK, I’m just worrying over nothing. And then the Jags cranked it up. What worries me more than anything is our team looks tired and beat up. We still have a few more games to finish this season guys, get that mojo going!
