A Giants win would have been trouble for Dak, and awesome for the defense. Instead, a Packers win is great for Dak, and spooky for Sean Lee and company.

Aaron Rodgers has thrown 22 touchdowns without an interception during this nine-game righting of the Packer ship. The dude is just flat awesome. No denying it, and it will be a privilege to be there Sunday partly because I get to watch this man work.

But offensively, I see little to stop the Cowboys offense. Zeke is going to run wild, and Dak is going to have receivers he can see and hit all game long. Dez Bryant didn't even play in Green Bay earlier, so buckle up, Buttercups. It's going to be wild and wooly.

But unlike Dez, Jordy Nelson is not likely to be there this time. If he decides to shoot those ribs up and give it a go, he'd might as well reserve a spot at Parkland Hospital beforehand. That ain't gonna feel good later. I don't think he plays, and if he does, it'll be like he didn't.

I think Rodgers is going to have to do it all to beat Dallas. His run game won't amount to anything meaningful, and his defense is going to get pounded into submission. Conversely, I DON'T think Dak has to be anything more than serviceable for Dallas to move the ball with relative ease. If he's better than that, look out.

I keep changing my mind about what kind of game this will be. At first, I thought it would take 35+ to win, and that may be. But if Dallas can run the ball and keep Rodgers shuffling around anxiously on the sideline, it could be quite a different game.

In the end, the Cowboys are just a better team all around. Dallas wins this game.

The day WILL come that our offense wont have to have prolonged drives to protect the defense. Next year with Jaylon and a couple more acquisitions the D will be an asset rather than a liability to be covered for . This is the 1991 Cowboys on the cusp of greatness for next year.

I wonder what the game film shows regarding our coverage of receivers Was it Rodgers missing open guys or did we have them locked up. They only really moved the ball late in the game after we had it locked up if I remember correctly. Their struggles early in the season seemed to revolve aroung Jordy not being 100% yet.

I realize that Rodgers is on fire, but it wasn't like he was completely awful when he played us earlier this year. The Pack was 3-1 and had just beat the big bad Giants. He had a 9-3 TD/Int ratio. I also recall the Pack had the #1 rush defense (that turned out well). And Nelson had 5-68yards in the game.

If not for a late TD, the score was 30-9.

The only thing that will derail the Cowboys is JG/Linehan coming out of a long break and trying to be to cute with the gameplan.

I could not agree more, though, I don't think it will be that close. It will be reasonably close, but I'm expecting more of a 10-point-margin kinda close where you can't exactly feel great throughout the game as a Cowboys fan because you know Rodgers can get hot at a moments notice. I just don't see the Packers being able to stop the Cowboys offense and I don't think Aaron Rodgers can do it all by himself against the healthiest Cowboys defense all year.

I remember it being a little of both. I remember blanketing the WR'S, but I also remember the overthrow down the sideline, and the one to Cobb that should have been a TD. It reminded me of when we played Cousins the 1st time actually.

I also remember Troy telling Buck that the WR'S for GB weren't getting open and that's why Rogers doesn't look the same. Now he's throwing them open, but the real key is his pass protection.
