Think back at the great dynasties over the years:

* Immaculate reception - Steelers
* Deion PI on Irvin - 49ers
* Emmanuel incompletion - Rams
* Brady tuck play - Patriots
* Numerous plays in the SB - Steelers (05)

Not to start another thread about the Hitchens play, but I can tell a lot of fans are letting the controversy ruin an amazing comeback and win.

Embrace it- few teams have won the Super Bowl without a play or two like this during their run.

I hope it happens again this weekend......then it can happen again in Seattle and then in the Super Bowl.....
People can cry the whole offseason while we are celebrating a championship.

This play doesn't belong anywhere close to those. This was a judgement call that was handled poorly with 9 minutes to go.

This didn't cost the Lions the game and the stink being raised over it just ridiculous.

You could say the same about the Brady tuck play. It was a judgment call that happened with significant time left in the game. In fact, that drive was just to tie the game. The game went into OT. Deion's PI was a judgment call too and wasn't the only reason why we lost that game.

The Brady tuck play happened with roughly 2 minutes left in regulation. The Patriots got into field goal range to tie it directly because of the tuck play. So, no, not really the same.

The PI thing happened with 9 minutes left and multiple possessions still to come. It wasn't to clinch the game or anything like that.
