Two things that stood out to me listening to the Notorious M.E.L.

And this isn't just his evalutions but what he's hearing around the league. Field Yates confirmed he's hearing the same things too.

The videos are linked at the spot for you.

1) Top 10 is a little too rich for Tetairoa McMillan. His range starts with the Cowboys at 12.

2) Luther Burden III is an early to mid 2nd round projection around the league right now.

We’ll see where Burden is ultimately drafted, but I would 100% concur if these rumblings are true.

I've been saying this group of WRs aren't like last year, and ppl are pushing them up the board because they're WRs, no sir.

The 2nd tier WRs may be more productive then the 1st imho. Don't jump the gun, fix the other needs, a solid WR could there in the 3rd or 4th round.

Tet should be too rich for 12 also.

I think Tet is the equal of Drake London as a prospect. Generally speaking, this is a weak class of wideouts though.

Yeah, Tet at 12 is more acceptable than Burden. Cowboys could use a big target. I think Tet is a little faster, and Drake is a little more physical.

Graham
Carter
Tet
Green

Tet might be the only one that falls to us. Maybe Green.

Would have no problem with Tet at all. Think he would be great here. He reminds me some of Mike Evans. People used to fawn over Johnny Football but he was just playing school yard football at his position and Evans was the one that caught all of his misplaced passes imo.
I think Tet did the best he could do with his buddy at QB but he made that QB look better than he was in the passing dept.

Tet is a good fit for Dallas.

I'm confident that Tet and Burden will go early, because this draft class is so bad and because the league is so hungry for WRs. But neither one's anything special.

Tet is a big possession WR in the Michael Pittman mold, with a high floor and a low ceiling. In a normal class, he probably goes in the teens.

Burden's a gadget guy with the potential to be more, but he has a Curtis Samuel-ish floor (31/253/1 this season with an MVP quarterback). Early 2nd seems to be where those Samuel, Rondale Moore, Laviska Shenault gadget types end up in most years.

I'm not sure that Egbuka won't be the best WR in this class. He's a similar type of high-floor possession WR as Tet. I'd bet on Tet's size and stickum hands ahead of Egbuka, but I think the gap between them is smaller than most draftniks are treating it.

Uhhh... I'm taking Tet at 12 pretty easily, unless there is a DL there I really, really like. Like if Mike Green aces the combine and he's there, or if Graham has a Laremy Tunsil-incident.

Tet looks like AJ Green to me. We need help everywhere. Slam dunk.

Why don't teams like him? Or is this just spun yarn?

I think Tet McMillan is a solid player at 12. He can catch the football and should win in contested catches.

i can see that,London finally had a good season with over 100 catches after getting some good QB play,we can use a Drake Lonson.

We have so many needs, the good news is that we will get a guy at 12 that will help us

It is also a deep draft at RB and DT so we can likely get help at those spots in rounds 2-5

If Tet is there, I would be fine with that pick. We need a legit #2 WR and he will open up the passing game on the outside and help in the red zone. The player I really want is Graham, but I just don’t see any way he drops to us.

In a scenario where we are dead set on taking an offensive skill position (and all prospects were available), I would take the following prospects in this order:

  1. Tet McMillan. He’s an instant starter, red zone threat, and exactly what we need next to CeeDee.
  2. Tyler Warren. Controversial, but I think he makes sense on so many levels in terms of pass catching, run game, and attitude.
  3. Ekbuka. He profiles like Reggie Wayne to me; polished and productive receiver that’s ready to step in Day 1.
  4. Ashton Jeanty. He makes sense if we don’t want to risk losing out on preferred RBs prospects later in the draft.

Luther Burden... Sounds like a name for the H.O.F.

We all have two top 3 ALL-Pro players in Lamb and Parsons......I would love to see us pair an elite player with either one, making them unstoppable. I love to draft Mike Green or Tmac at 12.....

If McMillan makes it to 12 I think it becomes a no brainer for the Cowboys. They desperately need a WR 2 who can line up outside the numbers. Hes certainly a bit of a project in that he needs to improve his routes and likely needs to take his lumps against bigger corners in man coverage, but the ceiling here is incredible with all the traits you look for with the exception of maybe that stretch the defense type of straight line speed.

It all depends on who else is there. Tet will come in and help some team this year. I don't see him lasting till 12
I would prefer Warren because Dak likes his TE so maybe he will look their way.
Yes he would be a shiny new toy but wont help with Dak running all over the place looking for a WIDE open rec.
As last year we are going into the season looking to stop the run and be able to run the ball.
