Firemen are the true heroes in the country. A little insane to willingly run into fires, but heroes. I'm sorry for your loss.

This is the part of growing older that I was not prepared for even though I had been warned about it. You will lose people, people near and dear to you.

But until I felt that sting, a pain that could not be lessened, I did not understand or appreciate those gifts we are given.
