A different M. Gallup breakdown

Just based on what I have seen I like his physical play after the catch and his ability to go up and make the catch at it's high point. I think the kid has talent but he will have to put in the work and effort to excel at this level.
 
Kinda reminded me of Dez. Only didn't play as big as Dez does but seemed to be more explosive than Dez. He's not our number 1 or even 2 WR. He can help, though.

Yeah I thought about the same thing. I believe Gallup has a better catch radius than Dez because Gallup can twist and adjust to balls thrown behind him, but I still think dak needs to get that back shoulder fade down with gallup.

Maybe they develop a nice connection in camp.

He just does everything well..


He comes off very different in his interviews though....
 
Gallup coming in is like a mix of a poor mans' Amari Cooper and a poor man's Dez. He's an advanced route runner with quickness like Cooper, but not quite as explosive. He's like a shorter version of Dez in terms of his ability to high point and grab the ball away from his body (he's got decent "ups" too). If the kid were a couple inches taller and a tick or two faster, he's no doubt first rounder. As it was he's a complete steal at 81.
 
He strikes me as the kind of guy that going to work extra hard and solidify his relationship with his QB. That's what we need. A hard worker that runs crisp routes and is where he's supposed to be when he's supposed to be there.. Everything I've seen says Gallup is one of those guys. I'm excited. I feel the same way about Hurns.

Dak is accurate enough, it just depends on what he thinks is an "open" receiver.
We need to have faith in our QB, everyone knows that he wasn't soley at fault for the way last season went

Right.... To be a top flight WR @ the NFL level, you have to carry an air of confidence with you. Not arrogance... Confidence in one's abilities. Love it.

He lead a lot of his receivers into tackles. Just because he throws it to a spot and gets caught is not accuracy. His receivers had to stop to make catches which limited YAC. That is not being accurate
