it took Washington a little time to catch on but they've now figured out how to beat Dallas in the same way the Giants and Eagles have...simple...
stop the run and make them throw...the same formula that derailed New England last year...they know that Romo will almost certainly throw at least one interception...they know if they make fewer mistakes, win the turnover battle and establish the run they can win...
...When Dallas reaches the fourth quarter with only 17 points against a division rival, you know they are in trouble...when they only have 44 yards rushing through three quarters of play they are in trouble...today, at the end, they looked exactly how they looked at home against Philadelphia and New York last year...
...the success Dallas will have versus the division will be determined by their ability to run the ball...all three of their rivals have good secondaries...Dallas needs better results from theirs...
...i'll chalk this loss up to being emotionally flat in the same way they were after beating Green Bay LAST year...but they were beaten in all phases, did'nt stop or establish the run, and Romo's accuracy or inaccuracy for that matter, hurt them, not to mention his par for the course INT...sure there were missed calls, but Dallas just made more mistakes period...
...it seems the blueprint to beating the Cowboys was laid out in December of 2006 against the Eagles AT HOME...it just took awhile for the Giants and the Commanders to realize it...
...DVOA only projects 10 wins for them this year and if what we saw today continues, that prognostication will come to pass as the season draws to a close...
