This is not Jerry's first rodeo. Why is he treating it like it is??

IMO, the passing of Mendenhall was a mistake. Yes he is similar to MBIII. So what?? If Marion should be injured is anyone confident in Felix's ability to be the lead dog? And with who behind him?? Felix is a good good back, but you never ever pass up a player that can PLAY fulltime if need be.

The Jenkins selection I have no qualm with. 100% solid selection of a player that will play, and play now. I really like the new look of our secondary with TNEW, Pacman, and Jenks. Henry may unseat Roy at safety in the nickel and dime packages and we would have four true ballhawks and one big hammer in our defensive backfield.

Bennett. I don't know much about him but why not a WR? With Fasano gone it is clear that Tony Curtis has taken his roster spot, and has never shown that he can NOT play. That said, I guess it adds good quality depth.

Now we trade twice with Manningham, Bowman, and several other WR's on the board. Is Crayton that good? Is Hurd that good? Is Austin that good? No they aren't. Manningham is a potential Number 1 WR with excellent size and body control. If T.O. goes out with an injury, I don't see an answer on our roster currently sufficient to remotely cover his absence.

I give this draft a D.
