Here's my one effort at this for what the Cowboys will do. It involves a trade down.

The Cowboys trade their first round pick, #4 overall, to the Rams for their first pick, #15, their second round pick, #43, their second round pick, #45, and their fourth round pick, #110.

#1 (pick 15) - QB Paxton Lynch - Memphis
#2a (pick 34) - DE Noah Spence - Eastern Kentucky
#2b (pick 43) - RB Derrick Henry - Alabama
#2c (pick 45) - CB Kendall Fuller - Virginia Tech
#3 (pick 67) - WR Braxton Miller - Ohio State
#4a (pick 101) - DT Sheldon Day - Notre Dame
#4b (pick 110) - SS Miles Killebrew - Southern Utah
#4c (pick 135) - CB Harlan Miller - Southeastern Louisiana
#6a (pick 189) - OT/OG Brandon Shell - South Carolina
#6b (pick 212) - TE David Morgan II - Texas-San Antonio
#6c (pick 216) - FB Dan Vitale - Northwestern
#6d (pick 217) - ILB Nick Kwiatkoski - West Virginia

Some may be a little hopeful, but after all, it is a mock draft. Flame away.

I like the idea, but I am thinking a trade down with a specific player in mind is asking for it.

The idea of trading down to get mythical "value" is a fool's game. Too many variables in play.

Looks great on paper, but I dont see Lynch falling that far. Don't see him getting past both SF and Philadelphia

Again, it goes back to that mythical value thing. If you like the player, you think they fit, who cares if they are taken at 4 or 244.

Where trouble happens is when you think a player will go here or there, then you either get left holding the bag or worse, trade up and down and around to correct the miscalculation.

Some good picks. Don't see the trade down though and I'm not as high on Braxton miller as some. Maybe later but very raw for a 3rd rnd pick
Overall, there are some good picks there

BTW, this is a mock draft that is so awesome it could never happen. Value, talent all the way, every pick until the end.

I'll try to have a stroke next time before submitting. Thanks for the feedback.

I think Goff goes to SF.

I don't think Philly takes a QB in round 1.

Im guessing in this scenario LA is trading up for Goff. Needing a QB is the only reason I can see them giving up that amout of picks.

Philadelphia may or may not. I don't think they are forced too, but I think they will jump on Lynch if he is there at 8

I think Philly has their eyes on Elliot (much to the chagrin to many).

Their future starter is the kid they signed from KC. They have two seasons of Bradford (or maybe one if they cut/trade him) and then move on to the kid.

FWIW, Chase Daniel is actually older than Sam Bradford.

That's my projection, hence the trade. Also, having a California QB when moving back to California helps the local rooting interest.

Id love it if they took a HB top 10 and went with Daniel's.

I don't see Daniels as there QB of the future or even present though. 7 million a year might be alot for a backup, but its nothing for a starter. I think he is a pure back up, possible bridge QB. I dont think he is going to stop them from a QB this draft if one is there they like
