I hate to say it, but elliot ran well, pollard had a few good runs. I also thought tyler played good.
Noah brown did good. Dak played good at times, but the defense just kept him confused, and he started making mistakes.
I think being behind and at home, he was embarrased and frustrated, which made him worse as game went on.

But here is one thing, people tend to overlook, Bowles had a great def game plan, and his def players played great, same team that shut down
kc in SB.
So Dallas was ill prepared, bad game plan, and played a great defense, hence only 3 points.
Zeke looks much slimmer He is not shaped like an ewok anymore Still looks like one though

In one of the worst games in Cowboys history, there were a few…and I mean very few…players who deserve some kudos for their performance:
  • Tyler Smith- actually played very well. Only allowed 2 QB pressures and had multiple plays where he flashed some physical dominance. Has a lot to learn still but lots of good Sun night.
  • Micah Parsons- 2 sacks, played hard every snap. But…Even the great #11 though had some bad plays too. He needs to work on run gap protection.
  • Zack Martin- was his usual dependable self.
  • Brian Anger- you know you’ve had a bad night when your punter is a star. Anger is consistently great. Avg 51 yards per punt with 2 inside the 20.
Anyone else?
Bright spots , yay

Maher 51 yard field goal and all touchbacks on kickoffs
Noah Brown 5 catches Not bad for what would be your third receiver.

Pollard had 6 carries for 8 yards… exactly which ones were good?

I find it comical that we had massive meltdowns on CZ prior to game 1 about Left Tackle.

It turned out that rookie LT Tyler Smith was a top 3 player on the team in game 1.
It was one game, let’s see him string a couple together before we anoint him the next hall of famer. At one time people on here were declaring Rob Pettiti the RT of the future!
