Good thing our WR's were getting open quick, cuz the protection wasn't good.

Free missing badly on the first series.

Tyron whiffed on the 2nd Harris TD (good blitz pick up by Murray on that play at least).

Once Orton came in the Rams went into full blitz mode, and the OL didn't handle it well at all. Though on at least one play the Rams blitze 8 (yes EIGHT) people (sack by Laurenitis).

Albright will make the final 53.

Orton sacked with 31 secs left in the first half... Tyron looked like he was gonna block the end then changed his mind and blocked the backer. I think Tyron was supposed to pick up the End and Tanner the blitzing backer.

Orton spikes the ball with 10 secs left, but the LT is not covered up. Should have been a penalty (not to mention it was a fumble, not a real spiked ball).

Very impressed with Harris, Ogletree, Beasley, and Phillips the first half. Felix was off and on. Murray looked like Murray.

Bruce Carter still has a long way to go. You can see the athleticism, but he's slow to react out there.

This is the best group of corners we've had here in a looooooooooong time. Our 5th corner now could have started during the Campo era.

Austin, Dez, Otree, Harris, Beasley are your WRs... Coale is in there if we keep 6.

The rams backup running back is I. Pead. Now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are...

Don't think we'll keep 3 QB's but if we do it's gotta be Carpenter. The McGee era has run it's course.

Adrian Hamilton... I really hope they find a way to keep this kid on the final 53.

Beasley looked solid on his punt return (as of 7:57 left in the 4th).

Hey Radway... they're going to hit you regardless... might as well catch it.

Seeing too many yards after contact by opposing RBs. Need to stop that SOB in his tracks and throw him backwards.

Refs are supposed to be cutting down on the QBs moving their hands forward before the snap, Davis getting away with it. By the way, if the Rams cut Davis, I'd like the cowboys to pick him up to be the 3rd QB. Reminds me of a young Romo.

4th quarter... Rams OL pushing us around, our OL doesn't even look like they're attempting to drive block. They just lock up and stand there.

On that run by Carpenter at the end of the game, I'm not so sure he was down.

If the OL were pumping their legs while blocking as hard as Olawale has, they might actually move their man backwards a little...

The rams had 2 penalties for 15 yards... in a preseason game. Seriously DoulbeU TEE EFFFF...

Albright looked like Frankenstein out there. He was ridiculously slow. He will not make the team.

Carter has struggled. Getting caught in the wash and not shedding blockers very well versus the run.

Wanna bet?

Top 5 WR's: Dez, Austin, Otree, Harris, Beasley... much deeper and more talented than we've been led to believe.

Harris was terrific tonight, he looked like a legit #2 at minimum and Otree other than the slant he dropped was very good.

Beasley is an IDEAL slot WR and will do damage to opposing teams all year.

I really like this group alot.

He'll make it on special teams alone. Connor needs to worry.

On the two touchdowns, Romo had some time back there in the pocket. The line opened up some holes in the running game also. They weren't perfect but they weren't bad either. They still have some work to do but they are showing some signs of improvement.

Hey Rack, you should do these more often. I enjoyed the hell out of that.

I think people's expectations for offensive line play are too high at times. Overall, this was a well-blocked effort by the line. Yes, there were some mistakes, but they also created some nice running holes and gave the QBs some time, although Romo also bought some.

I'll have to go back and take a closer look at what happened on each play, but I didn't see any big reasons to worry in this one.

i expect we see connor in on 1st down and all running downs and bruce carter in for all nickel and passing downs.

expect teams to try to beat connor on early downs with tight ends and backs.

and to beat carter with anything other than a pass directly to his area.

good thing sean lee is so friggin good. that 2nd ILB may be our defenses only weakness right now. holy canoli are those guys looking good.

the ol looked much better inside but the tackles got greased. tyron and free both were chasing cars when undersized rushers came hard off the edge. all that said jason smith made both look good.

murray reminds of the good barber. i hope he can play like that for more than 3 seasons.

dwayne harris has been sorta forgotten but man does that guy look good after the catch. he came out with a rep as a running back type almost and it makes sense watching him after the catch. a little welker toughness to him.

It's generally good practice not to put any stock in how the offense performs against the Rams,,, if they got to play the Rams every game they would be 16-0 and Murray would own every single NFL rushing record no matter who started on the offensive line.

i actually expect this rams team to be much improved on defense.

fisher can coach defense and he has a ton of high draft picks with which to work.

they will still suck on offense and be bad overall however.
