I knew for a while that Alzado was a stand up guy.

The problem for him is by admitting he took steroids, the NFL was angered by it. And since steroids didn't cause him to have cancer, he lost some credibility.

I always liked the guy. He reminded me of so many adults I grew up with in New York.
