Johnny Cash comes to mind: I hear the train a comin'
It's rolling round the bend
And I ain't seen the sunshine since I don't know when...."
It's good to get the win. It's nice to believe hope is on the way. I can hope that Romo gets better, he seemed rusty today. It would be nice to know that the defense could improve. It would be nice to see the players not taunt after a touchdown that ultimately costs 7 points. I can hope that they get better about their emotions.

I hope we see the need to draft a QB. Not because I hate Romo, but because the player of his type has value. We need depth at RB, we see now what happens when you can run the ball effectively. We need a better pass rush, but that isn't just about linemen, it's about all 11 players playing in unison. I can hope that we find someone of Greg Hardy's talent without the headache and baggage. But you can't keep hoping that a leopard will change it's spots.

So let's hope today taught us all a lesson of what a team needs in all areas of the team. Let's hope that it wasn't just another freight train coming our way.

He hasn't practiced or played in weeks, of course he's going to be rusty

Lord knows you're right. But what if they had a young QB that would have won a few games for us? Would that same QB have bought Romo more time? Just wondering out loud.

That TD to Dez play needs to be run every time in the red zone at least once. I'm not sure how that can be defended

You will always fail to do what you never try....Absolutely endorse your message.

Romo was rusty took some some hits played well. Offense coordinator needs to shake it up. Escobar can play. Dez needs to be moved around, inside slants with our big guys can be huge for us

Bingo! I don't even know what else to say and usually I always have something to say.

It would be great if it was true, but this is wayyyy harder than you make it seem. Who would you trade for a young QB sitting on the bench behind romo? Dez, Mo, Frederick, Tyron, Martin? Clearly we would all trade Mo for anything else, but it's just not easy to grab a young QB in the draft.

That logic is tossed around like "oh this is silly we should have just taken a franchise QB in the last 5 years somewhere in the middle to bottom of the draft order, whats up with that Jerry Jones nut?"

That said, I'm on board with swinging a few 3-5th round picks on a QB instead of another random linebacker going forward.

It's basically an option route for Dez that puts him in space to get separation. Basically gives him the whole field to work with when they blitz from middle. Maybe the best route ever made for Dez.

I know it's not easy at all. If it were all teams would be winning with stellar QB play. However, how many QBs have we drafted since Aikman was established as a QB in this league? Not many.
"The true QBs the Cowboys have drafted since 1990: Bill Musgrave (fourth round) in 1991, Quincy Carter (second round) in 2001 and Stephen McGee (fourth round) in 2009.

In the same period, Green Bay has drafted 15 quarterbacks, and 17 other teams have drafted at least 10." We have to do better. What are the odds we will catch lightening in a bottle again with a UDFA? I know, let's be glad we have Romo and I am, but let's have more plans for the future as well.

Sub par and poor qb play gave us 7 L's this season. With a quality qb there is a good chance we go at least 4-3 on the stretch.
