I do think Philly should have tried to throw to the tight ends more. They were doing well but Hurts kept throwing at Diggs for some reason. I think Philly should have been utilizing the running backs more as well. Neal does come back next week, though.

Let’s be honest the Eagles coaching staff is borderline college level… Most of these guys are under the age of 40.

You know damn well that the Eagles should’ve ripped us up the middle all night.

To start the second half they ran two huge plays up the gut - That went for big yards and stadium went uh oh here we go again.

They also ran over the middle crossing routes That had us completely confused.

We got lucky Hurts missed Goeddert by an inch or he’s gone for a 50 yard TD.

Next week im pounding the middle 27 + times - and im playaction all day on Jaylon Stiff - all day .

2-1 nice start - but I’m not 100% on our run D especially with our best LB playing pass rusher.
You went through all that to sling a rock at Jaylon?

We just played 2 of the best offenses in the league in the first two games without many players on D and we did just fine. This D will get stronger once we get players back. Gallimore will be a huge for us when he returns of stuffing the run.

Still haven’t faced a good running team.

If our goal is just to win the NFC East, yes.

Defense is looking better, but "just not awful" won't win a SB no matter how great your offense.

10 of the last 11 SB champs have been in the top ten in scoring defense. Brady and Mahomes didn't drag trash to a title, so don't expect "middle of the pack" to get it done.

Thankfully, we're seeing improvement. Hope it continues.

Didn't Saints and McCarthy's Packers won SBs and among or lead the NFL in turnovers despite being middle or bottom of pack in yards surrendered ?

you are some kind of stupid aren't you? they rushed 29 yards by their RBs a grand total of 3 times!!!!...and one of the runs was in first quarter for 24 yards....Hurts had 35 yards scrambling...so what runs?

same in chargers game, where Ekler had two big run in first quarter and then they averaged 3.7 yards....

tampa had 52 yards rushing....

btw, that's not water you are drinking, its alcohol....you must be drunk. you have to be....

I don't think anyone is confusing this unit for a dominant force at this stage. What it is shaping up to be, however, is an opportunistic unit with game-changing young talent (Parsons, Diggs) at multiple levels.

The defense is going to improve as the season goes along. They aren’t bad now and they’re going to get better and better as some of the young guys gain experience, as they all learn the defense better and as injured guys begin to return to action.

Dallas held the Eagles offense in check pretty much all night. Every offense is going to have a successful play or two over the course of a game. To have expectations that the opposing offense won’t have any success is both unrealistic and just plain silly.
