I guess I am looking at the wild card game with Seattle a little but different than some of you. I am going to grace you with my vision of how I see it going down.

Dallas is a much better team than the Seahawks at this point in the season and I am expecting to see a good old fashioned **** kicking in Texas this weekend administered on the Seahawks by the Cowboys.

Why am I so optimistic? The Seahawks are very vulnerable to the run and that is Dallas' strong suit. Expect to see Zeke run early and often on this defense.

Dallas now has Jaylon and the Wolf Hunter roaming the field on defense and the defense is playing well overall.

This is a home game, Zeke is fresh, the OL is playing MUCH better than earlier in the year and now we have Amari. Thomas is on IR, and we aren't likely to lose the turnover battle in this one.

Quite honestly, player for player this game should not even be close. There are two caveats to my scenario. Linehan could submarine this game. But I think we win this almost regardless of how badly he calls this game.

Th second caveat is the turnover battle. It would be hard to win any game if we lose turnover margin.

Some will say that Wilson is a better QB than Dak, and he probably is at this point in their careers. But his weapons are significantly inferior. We need to keep Wilson from running wild in this game. If we maintain gap control he won't.

I am expecting Dallas to win this one by 10 and I don't think it will be that close. LVE and Jaylon are going to start establishing their legacy this weekend. The legend of the Wolf Hunter will grow.

If Dak doesn't run the ball at least 5 times in this game someone needs to break Linehan's knee caps.

Dallas will roll this weekend. The super bowl run starts 1 and 0 this weekend.

Now that's something I enjoy reading! Am enjoying several of these posts that are putting a positive spin on this game instead of the doom and gloom. GO COWBOYS!!! :flagwave:

This game is not a gimme. The Seahawks have the number one rushing offense in the league and a seasoned, Super Bowl caliber quarterback who is a run/pass threat.

I do give the Cowboys the edge because the game is at home. But this will be a close game and come down to turnovers.

If Dak loses a fumble, Cowboys lose. If he doesn’t, they win. That’s my $0.02

You boil it all down to just one factor - we will win if we do not turn the ball over, period. I'm including non-traditional turnovers such as missed FGs and failed 4th down conversions in this. Not turning the ball over will be an indication we're running the rock, converting 3rd downs, and not bogging down in the red zone.

I like your optimism, but I think the only potential blowout this weekend could be the Bears blowing out the Eagles.
I think every other game including ours will come down to the final drive.

I'd buy into this if we had a real HC instead of Garrett. Coaching will be the difference in the game and that does not fare well for us...
So if we find a way to win will you give Garrett credit or come up with some fluke reason they won?

agree on all fronts, a situation only Garrett & Co. can f up. We'll see soon enough.........

Dallas is weak against the run. Especially when the opposite team commits to doing so. This game is going to come down to the offense taking advantage of their opportunities and scoring touchdowns. We've struggled all year with teams that commit to the ground game. I think Dallas wins in the end, but it'll be a close one.

The Seahawks have the better QB, coaching staff, special teams, and more playoff experience.

Dallas has home field advantage on a short week, the better RB, and some renewed confidence/swagger.

Seattle will come into this game calm, cool, and collected and make no mistake: they expect to win.

Dallas however, just has this relentlessness and fight to them this year that it is hard to quantify. The Saints game. Sweeping Philly. The Giants game on Sun.

You can just tell listening to them this week... they are ready for this challenge. I think Dallas comes out swinging and plays their most complete game of the year. Good on offense. Strong on defense. Consistent in the kicking game. Total team victory— though not an “easy” game as Seattle will fight and play for 60 tough mins.

Dallas 27
Seattle 23
