Seemed like everyone was mocking him to NY at 13 or else Buffalo at 9.

They just felt too much of need to get Beckham as guess. Understandable really. The 2nd round does line up ok to find oline help.

Dallas may be able to use Martin as the only backup center. Saving a roster spot.

Hopefully they keep Bernardeaux. Both can be backup centers. Lots of flex going on - that's a good thing.

Are you suggesting that Martin would start the year as the primary backup to all of the interior lineman positions? Not sure if he can act as backup center if he's starting as a guard :)

Why would he not be able to backup a position if he were starting? It's pretty common across all sports that the backup of an important/skilled position is a starter at another spot. Versatility with roster limitations is actually quite desirable.

I don't know, it seems like it would be too much shuffling around if Frederick got hurt -- if Martin takes his place at C, then you have to move someone into Martin's vacant Guard spot. Not that we couldn't do it, it just doesn't seem ideal.

the 3rd best guard. Are you that unaware of how it works?

No...I want Martin to play the position that he plays. I know he can play all positions on the oline, but concentrate on just one is what I want.

If someone's injured there will be shuffling anyway. So I don't see where the problem is.
