Good thread and solid guesses, IMO. I think Harris might be gone.

I think Carr stays. They might give it one more shot with Brandon and Mo with an improved line, JMO.

Solid list. I think Ro and Durant should stay over Carter, but he definitely made it a tougher decision with his play over the last month or so.

McClain, Lee, Durant with Hitchens for depth, that's a solid LB corps.

I think Rod stays. Otherwise, I see it going down the same way.

Spencer, Harris, and Durant can all go as well. Not sure if he stays or not, but I'd much rather keep Carter than Durant. We need a LB that can stay on the field and Durant has proven he's not that guy.

I think it's still a good chance Marinelli stays. I'd like to think Harris stays, but I think he'll have options with more opportunities on offense elsewhere, and he'll be costly. Replace him with a mid-round speed receiver with return ability. Hayden I think at least goes to camp with us.

I'm torn on Moore and Carr. I think it's most likely Carr takes a pay cut a'la Doug Free and stays. Moore, I think we'd like to keep, but he might get more money elsewhere, and if he does, he'll take it. Patmon is in position to pick up his snaps next year, and with Mo coming back we won't be under a ton of pressure to find another CB who can contribute some snaps.

I hope we extend Beasley for more than just his rookie contract.

Leary, too, is an RFA we'll have to tender, isn't he? If so, we will. Though I'm not as sure we extend him to a fairly big long-term contract with that chronic knee condition.

Pretty close to what I think, except I think it will be either Ro or Durant, not both.

Also, my guess is Dez gets his new deal Super Bowl week.

We also need a consistent player and Carter has proven he's not that guy either. I don't know that you want to give a second contract to that kind of player.

I think Marinelli stays
I think McClain is gone
I think they renegotiate Carr (who has quietly played VERY well over the last few games)

I agree, but damn we are thin at LBers and can't keep them healthy.

I don't know about Marinelli there is talk about him possibly staying and Stephen saying that they have negotiating rights to them for three days so after they resign Garrett, then go from there and what is so weird about TB is that they didn't make any announcements about letting go Frasier and if they infact contacted Marinelli then they tampered and can be subject to penalties if they can't rework his deal before the end of the week then he could be joining TB. As for Callahan I'm with you that he could be leaving going elsewhere stay tuned for that one.

If Callahan goes, and it looks pretty likely that he will, who is in favor of bringing Tony Sparano back to coach the OL should he be available? Or do you prefer elevating Pollack?

Yeah, I'm not sure they're ready to give up on those guys, especially considering we may be playing more man coverage next year.

Also, depending on Murray's state of mind, he could be franchised. He may be wearing out quickly at this pace, but might have 1 more good year worth paying for. Personally, I'd rather let him walk and use those $$$ elsewhere. With our OL (and we do need a stud RT), I may be able to run some.

Does Sparano coach the same type of scheme?

Agree. If you watch Carter closely he loafs quite a bit still especially when defending the run.

I would like to see us look at LB in the draft again (after we have addressed DL and DB needs).

This organization seems to have a knack for finding LB talent, and I don't think I want to rely on McClain or Lee next year.
